JERI AND STEVE ( THE 2 WHO HELPED PUT UP THE GIRAFFE TENT)-- VIVIAN WILL BE GOING WITH THEM...
WE FIGURE THEY MUST HAVE AS CLOSE TO PERFECT HOUSEHOOLD AS POSSIBLE AFTER WORKING SO CLOSELY FOR A WEEK READING DIRECTIONS AND PUTTING UP THE G-TENT WITHOUT ONE ARGUEMENT !!! WE COULD NOT BELIEVE IT...MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD HAVE KILLED EACH OTHER-- THOSE 2 NEVER HAD A ROUGH WORD !!
***
We will be leaving here late on Wed nite-will be there Thur (13) afternoon or early evening and will bring our new baby girl home on Fri!!
SEE YOU GUYS IN A FEW DAYS...
JERI AND STEVE

SPEAKING OF PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER-- BUD GOT THE GATE UP AND WORKING...SMALL PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON IN THE T TENT BOTH GATES OPEN / OR CLOSE --- WE JUST NEED TO ADJUST THE DIP SWITCHES AWAY FROM THE "FACTORY SETTING" BUT CURRENTLY THERE IS SOME RANDOM GATE MOVEMENTS TIL WE GET THAT SOLVED...( SOMETIME TODAY)
*********
CRANNEY COMPANY CAME AND WENT WORKING ON THE NEW WASHER/DRYER MADE POSSIBEL BY RICHARD AND THE CHICKEN CHALLANGE -- THEY NEVER SAID THEY WERE DONE- SOI AM ASSUMING THEY WILL BE BACK TODAY.. WE NEED THAT WASHER...
IT IS REALLY ANOTHER "GOLDIE" HAPPENING... THE DAY THEY ARE HOOKING UP THE NEW WASHER IS THE DAY THE OLD ONE IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM SELF DESTRUCTS..
WELL NEARLY DESTRUCTS... THE DOOR LATCH BROKE... AND ONE REASON I WAS TOLD TO BUY WASCOMATT IS THEY DO ALL THEY CAN TO HELP YOU REPAIR YOUR OWN-- SO WE HAVE TAKEN A PHOTO OF THE LATCH AND SENT IT TO THEM...
THE LAST TIME THAT MACHINE WENT DOWN ( I AM NOT COMPALINING... IT DOES YOEMANS SERVICE) IT WAS NOT SHUTTIN G OFF THE INCOMING WATER AT THE RIGHT MOMENT.... THAT PROBLEM WAS A TINY SPRING--LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE IN A BALL POINT PEN.. THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WEIGHING THE WATER AS IT FILLED UP/ THAT OLD MACHINE IS GETTING VERY TIRED--- SO WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE A NEW ONE COME ONLINE... WITHOUT THEM WE WOULD NOT SMELL AS SWEET.

As you know, John has Myotonic Dystrophy. It affects not only the physical body, but also the brain. As John is aging his core muscles and leg muscles are wasting, and he has also become much more willing to allow others think for him in many instances. Jess is changing that in many ways. John is getting much more physical exercise between our practice trips and his being with Jess throughout the day, but he is also thinking much more and gaining back confidence in himself that has been declining. We believe that while the physical may improve for a while and then begin decline again, John’s responsibility and love for Jess will continue to keep his mental acuity improving and sharp. This is a tremendous positive that we could have only hoped for, but with Jess we can see it continuing. What a great thing.
We thank you and all of the workers/volunteers at Service Dog project for your hard work and diligence in preparing your Danes to add so much to individuals lives. Thank you for what you are doing for not only John, but for our whole family! We have a way to go before John and Jess are working as one, but we know it is coming. She truly has become a member of our family, but more importantly she is already a part of our son John.
We look forward to seeing everyone there as often as we can so we can help provide a dog for someone in the future just as you all have done for us.
Thank you!!-- PAUL
