FROM A CAMERA PERSON....
I will not feel sad for Mae. From that first breath Carlene fought so hard for, to her last she gave joy, smiles, giggles, laughter. She epitomized life and reminded lot of us that we had to breathe again too. She united a group of disparate people to search the continent for something we were told was not there. She taught empathy, support, generosity, diversity. She reached a very long way and touched a thousand people. That's quite an accomplishment for a life of any length. So I will not cry. I will smile and remember and celebrate that life.
