lively day ahead....
chris-- new volunteer - with mother at brooksby wanted to take a dog to brooksby to visit-- should be no problem --- we have been going there monthly for years... like maybe 7 years??
however-- there is a new secretary who just happened to read the rules about pets visiting... so now they want current rabies certificate (from the vet office not our copy )- health certificate and stool samples- monthly-- proof of insurance-- and the handler has to go to indoctrination lecture.
i spent quite a bit of time on the phone with her ... and then she sent a long list of things she needed to allow the dogs to continue to go to brooksby...... i honestly thought she was doing me the favor of letting us visit the residents..
i don't know what the 1/2 hour lecture is that she wanted all of us to sit thru---
i did one of those once -- at addison gilbert hospital in newbury-- 1/2 hour of how and why to wash your hands...
so we are not doing that brooksby visit today ... i could push it and go with bentley as my service dog--- but maybe i should let it "ride"

even if shelia is not interested-- by now i am curious--- there is a house in boxford next to the dpw shed where they keep salt--- - rumor has it the well is contaminated with salt from the dpw....
i have trouble with that --- i know 15-20 years ago the feds? insisted on sheds over dpw salt piles--- and i wonder if t his is not a case of gossip gone wrong.. i am curious.. my curiosity will cost me $17.

and then there is susan about to arrive at 1:30 at logan-- i forget from where-- she is a camera person who will be renting a car and coming here for a few days to volunteer - stayng on the property.. somewhere .... and jacky-- another cp is coming ?? maybe friday for 4 days too?? jacky has been here often before... she cooks... wowowowowowo

and noel is smiling--- not doing a darn thing otherwise... i did feel bumping - so i think all is well-- she does not look like the beached whale that others have resembled... so i am not looking for 10 pups

all we need is a tanning booth-- and the irs could have a field day with their question #14 about a charity with a tanning booth.

noel is a very sweet dog--- she just asked to go out-- pam has gone with her--- because sweet or not she would be a b#tch to drag out from under the porch in the spiders--- and rain... or whatever---
