mar 10 2014
you can not expect me to get up every morning cheerful an d clever... it aint happenin'
maybe it is the fact that there is a sign up by the coffee pot "only give her decaf"

i hate to go in the kitchen with the morning puppies because they jump and scratch my legs... and when you are old scratches last a long time--
****
plan of the day i am looking forward to ride around with shelia it gives us a chance to solve the problems of the world-- at least our world --- the reaso n for the ride is to find her a place to live-- she comes equipt with a 6'6" husband which means none of those cutesy old farmhouses with the low cielings... plus 5 dogs and a couple donkeys.....

that cleaveland farm would be perfect... except -- and it is a huge except....... it is a historic house--- with the most
amazing restrictions . not onlly the exact type of paint outside...i could live with the paint order... and no billboards or digging big holes and selilng dirt.... it was the right of inspection by any government official at least annually to be sure you are in compliance with keeping the house and premise aesthetically significant....

so they are asking a million dollars for a place where you must allow the gov't to unload a busload of bigots and tell you you are not in compliance with the dust accumulation mandate...

damn shame-- but that is out.

the other over the top mandate is that... at least in maine according to dumbledorf-
all repairs have to be done by a liscensed historic house repair person.. you think it is difficult to find a plumber on a weekend--- how difficult it must be to find one certified by the historical society as being capable of changing a washer in y
our antique house..

there are 30 pages of this nonsense.. with the long words only a lawyer can understand anyway-- that being their sole purpose.. make it necessary to hire some other lawyer to interpret the gobble gook. that is how these clubs of lawyers stay in business...

my father had it right-- stay away from lawyers and bankers .
father sold farm equipment--- tractors etc -he told a story many times about the amish dairy farmers who sold their milk to the hershey factory.. the factory workers went on strike once.. and walked around in front of the hershey plant with signs etc about "do not cross this picket line..." and the amish... feeling it was against god's law to allow their milk to spoil-- got on their wagons and drove thru the picket line with someone sitting with a loaded rifle across his
lap.. that did not require a bunch of lawyers..
*************
i keep thinking we have almost made it to good weather-- and i hear there is another storm for thursday- sincen the temp is predicted to be 24 degrees... that will not be rain.

pam is here with her 2 white dogs looking darling in thier matching harness... she is way ahead of me-- i keep thinking "as soon as it is warmer i will get my 2 hitched together".. meanwhile they get wilder by the day.

i don't know who did what to this computer but it is leaving parts of words in odd places and skipping lines willy nilly.
and i have a formal letter to get on paper... it is going to be tough going... i better start now.
