Dd 3 16.

 How can I forget the daily doggy??? let me count the ways ..... It's more like I assume it has been posted and go get myself another cup of coffee... without checking to be sure it's out there.

I forget what distracted me yesterday but it's always something.   However today I will try and go slower 

I'm very happy to report that the wedding cake display unit I put together months ago was absolutely perfect to carry around carlye's chicken in an adult care center yesterday and the chicken behaved perfectly with only one winger  flapping episode it just sat there just as nice as could be while an awful lot of people patted it.. what was interesting ---I thought ----was that by the time we got to the second rroom  people had started to collect looking for this chicken on the wagon..  that often happens with the dog but it was exceptionally obvious with the chicken it was totally unexpected people took one look and laughed..  we had that chicken which is a Polish tufted chicken the black chicken with a fluffy white headdress is silly looking in the first place.... so to have an honor shiny glass and Chrome wagon made it even more ridiculous.

And the reason we finally did it was that at 8:00 in the morning when the day is beginning to look mundane the dogs are fed now what do we do?----- I decided damn it let's get that wagon out and use it ----the first thing we did was take some pictures of it which I hope I can get onto my computer you never know---but it certainly was a display....I can see that I would be perfectly comfortable with Carly and probably Judy going to any of these facilities by themselves...   Judy is an unbelievably efficient talking device.. she handles these people so well... and Carly is learning,   being naturally sociable in the first place.

Having  success with the chicken on the wagon, caused Judy and I to go to Home Depot and by a laser beam pointing device so Carly could start and see if she could train the chicken to pack in a certain spot..  somehow chickens are not as stupid as I thought they were. the expression dumb cluck will now no longer be used by me... and happily the rest of society has given up using  Expressions like   dumb broad.. dumb blonde... .  and or deaf and dumb.  All  of which were totally normal in my youth----which was a long time ago.

 

You all who have supported us with the $10 numbers donation. can take pride in the fact that there was enough money in the fun fund. for me to even go buy that ridiculous display for a chicken...  but yesterday alone it made at least 50 people smile ---chuckle ----laugh--- or something...  Not always carly's chicken but there are other things we can use this for.. immediately comes to mind judy's tortoise..  that would stay put on it too ---it wouldn't jump .

We must keep moving forward because the alternative is very dull...   so let's see what we can do with the laser beam.. the last time I used a laser beam was to keep that white cat. at the bottom of the tree where we had my white dog standing on the limb of the tree....
