 dd 2 18

I have been CLEANING MY  PERSONAL hard  DRIVE--- THAT IS MY MENTAL DRIVE ALSO....

Somewhere along the line I wrote how to achieve a well trained dog--- and then a service dog--- in 52 weeks..

.i am firmly  convinced of several things—2 of them have to do with dog training...

#1 of course spoon feeding—canned food one spoonful at a time gets attention and improves the pup’s impression of you.

#2  DANES ARE ABOVE REPETATIVE DOG TRAINING Methods---do something a couple times—2 or 3 is enough....and if they have it... move on and use that in general living conditions—like “wait”  or “leave it”.  To repeat 10 times will bore them and their minds will wander..  make it real.

52 WEEK.

PROPOSAL from  birth  to a “finished “ dog...

BIRTH—DRY LICK 200 WSHCLOTHS

FIRST MEAL... COLOSTRUM. ANTIBODIES

 NURSING.  NOT TOUCH HEAD

OUTGO.   WIZZING ( zoo’s  example)

Gruel start. Spoon help

Spoon feeding/lessons...

Puppy  marches

Puppy march IN PUBLIC.  to nursing home in Ipswich??

Individual    intro.... fig 8 leash

Walk abouts

intro  rocking horse and mannequin.  Arena

Load. Car.  Turn for tail out of the way

At this point your dog would be better behaved than most.

In public

Traffic

Curbs

Stairs

Elevators

Doors – wait

Air brakes  ( Bentley warren)

Train noise/ ride—bev- sal... sal-bev.

Under tables

Food dropping – leave it

Shopping carts

Check outs

Small Children

Hospital smells

School bells. —Ipswich not masco.

Cafeterias  comm college by ferncroft

indoor hockey – danvers

veterinarian visits.  Nails ears

falls

wheelchairs

.....

Once you get the spoon feeding and puppy march down pat.  Then do the rest by adding one topic a day... you would have a well trained dog by the time they were  6 months old---or as in Georges case---9 months darn near perfect.

Now would that work with a dog entering the system  already out of control????  without the basic spoon feeding?   I really don’t know...  have not tried it yet... I do know there is a  Tendency to dominate instead of train as in educate......  that makes a difference...big time.  but some discipline  is necessary... as in   “ if you don’t discipline your children, the world will”

I can not tell you how many grandparents have asked me to train their grandchildren.... I prefer dogs..

Obviously

in the did you ever wonder department...  here's a photo.
