THOSE FEW DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING ...WHY NOT HAVE THEM BE DEDICATED TO EDUCATION ABOUT FARMING—INCLUDING SERVING LUNCH ONLY FROM THINGS GROWN IN MASS--- AND QUESTIONING  JUST WHERE DID THAT GLASS OF WATER COME FROM?---  I WOULD PREFER AN ENTIRE WEEK OF 5 DAYS, BUT TO START THE 2.5 DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING SEEMED LOGICAL...

 

I HAVE RELATIVES IN COLORADO—AND TO THEM IT IS A SHOCK THAT   THERE IS NO MORE “AWAY” TO THROW THINGS...AND THERE ARE CHILCREN WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF CENTRALIA?? IN PENNA  BEEN BURNING FOR 50 YEARS—UNDERGROUND..—AND THEN THERE IS BUD—WHO READS AND THINKS.... HE TELLS ME THAT THERE IS A MAN IN NORTH CAROLINA WHO IS PRODUCING THE WOOD PELLATS THAT WE HAVE BEEN TOLD  ARE  JUST  SCRAPS LEFT OVER FROM LUMBERING...BUT BUD SAW A VIDEO OF TOTAL TREES BEING MADE INTO PELLATS AND THEN SHIPPED TO EUROPE.  DO THEY HAVE NO MORE TREES OF THEIR OWN???? PRETTY SOON WE WON’T HAVE ANY EITHER !!

 

BACK TO FARMING—I AM TOLD ( FROM SOMEWERE) THAT THERE IS A TRAIN FROM CALIFORNIA THAT HAULS JUST LETUCE.  TO THE EAST COAST ON A REGULAR BASIS...I AM TOLD A LOT OF THINGS...  ARABIA BUYS HAY FROM CALIFORNIA TOO BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH RAIN TO GROW THEIR OWN.. AND THEY LOVE THEIR HORSES...AND I AM TOLD THAT  GOOD CANADIAN HAY THAT WE FEED – AND BUY FOR ABOUT $10 A BALE... SELLS FOR $20 A BALE IN SO CAROLINA.... WHERE JANINE IS BUILDING>>>’’

 

I MADE A SPREAD SHEET OF OUR GOLDYS FARM EXPENSES FOR 2 MONTHS---AND THESE ARE JUST APROXIMATE... I HAVE SOME CLEANING UP TO  DO—BUT IT IS A GOOD INDICATION OF EXPENSES FOR 2 MONTHS...ROUNDING WHERE NEEDED.... 

HAY/FEED  IS OF COURSE THE BIG EXPENSE... AT ABOUT $6500 A MONTH... AND OUR HAY BOARD IS KEEPING UP WITH THAT .. DOG FOOD $200---- HELP SPECIFICALLY FOR GOLDYS FARM AND DAY CARE TRIPS...$1200---- STRONG ARM ( ANDY AND WALACE HEAVY LIFTING—LAND CARE ) $1200---   GAS $120 ( TWO TANKFULS)...   HAPPILY THERE WAS ONLY ONE CHARGE TO STARBUCKS FOR $6.90----    VET $500 A MONTH... THAT VET BILL CAN BE A LOT MORE IF WE HAVE “A PROBLEM”.

INTERESTINGLY.......20 YEARS AGO WHEN I WENT TO A DOCTOR, THE COMMENTS FRO M THE VISIT WERE  OF ThE SORT ... TWISTED RIGHT ANKLE—TAKE 2 TYLENOL AND GO AWAY...

NOW AT THE TENDER AGE OF 86 THE COMMENTS GO ON AND ON—ASKED APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS.. ALERT.... APPEPARS STATED AGE, SPEAKS IN FULL SENTANCES – BREATHING COMFORTABLY ---- MADE ME WONDER WHAT THE COMMENTS WOULD HAVE BEEN IF I DOZED OFF....  THERE IS AN AGE EXPECTATION WHICH SO Far  I apparently am ahead of. Yet frank sinatra’s “my way” song keeps going round in my head...—there is no way I can give up and be stagnant.... these 3 dogs of mine would not let me anyway--  they want to be out in public making people smile....  even if it is for just a few minutes....and the cards and emails I get are most encouraging. “ Keep on keeping on”. Is a constant theme as people buy their henny pennies....

 

Then there is the real fact that  -- at my age , I figure I can make a few wize cracks----there are enough people who will still give me their seat on the bus... and don’t have the   attitude.   “Don’t help that old gal – she belongs in a nursing home.”    ...  most noteably. 100 years ago--- some guy offered to help me with my shopping at cressy’s  .....    as I had just come from the farm  where someone had cursed  me for being in their way.... I was  totally shocked-  I am sure I did a daily doggie on that topic I could not believe how gracious the total stranger was....a few years later and the same guy is living across the driveway--- it was  nick—elizabeth’s husband...and he is just as gracious in real everyday life !!  also darn funny....good manners are not dead!...  but neither is elder abuse!!

So at 1:00 I had an appointment with a woman writing on  elders in general....and how Ipswich makes sure I have one meal a week ! – on Mondays they bring one  to the door—this week a lovely slice of ham.... fresh salad.. delmonica potatoes and a frosted cookie ! r

And there is someone in town  who bakes a loaf of banana bread evey year on my birthday.... so all is not lost....

 

My new phone---- I am hand typing in the phone numbers.... I am so sure there is a weird bug in that old phone I don’t want them talking to each other....—my old phone, I emailed judy sitting next to me in the car... she got the email—and it then did not even show on my phone...  it is strange...now we can use it for mail call.. and that is it !

 Ustabee--- we all assumed the US of A was top dog in the world of being dogs--- and we well may be--- however---By now you all know I'm no expert on anything except maybe in this case throwing things in the laundry..    simple problem. I never clean out the pockets before I throw anything in the wash consequently I do have a lot of experience on washing things that had no intention of being washed... in this case $10 bills----  well... not just $10 bills---- a $1.00 bill and three $10 bills ---What made me notice was the fact that the $10 bills have a terribly washed out looking ink job...  where the $1.00 bill looks as good as new..  so I thought maybe the $10 bills we're counterfeit  --  they could be. But they do all have a different serial number..  and these were printed in 2009---   the $1.00 bill was printed in 2003...  -- the $1.00 bill is the very familiar green looks as good as new---  the $10 bills the white has turned tan and the green has faded into a dull almost green... 

Now if any of you would like to investigate further--- how about it---  just wash a variety of the bills and let's see if we can figure out when they  bought the generic green dye---which doesn't hold up like the old stuff.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed high school physics especially when Mr. brown climbed up on the desks in order to demonstrate some physical principle or another I probably would have majored in physics at college except physics lab was 2:00 in the afternoon and I knew very well no way could I stay awake at 2:00 in the afternoon regardless of how fascinating it might have been so I majored in math to accommodate my sleep pattern... at any rate I always enjoy getting an e-mail from a person who did not take 2:00 naps.. and was therefore knowledgeable in physics.  So here is an official  explanation of the MISTERS

 

I may have told you this before but it never hurts to review. Water changes phase in several ways; from liquid to gas as it evaporates and from a liquid to a solid when it freezes.

 

The reduction in air temperature caused by injecting water droplets in a stream of moving air is caused by the change in PHASE of the water from a liquid to a gas.(Evaporation). A phase change requires the removal or addition of a much greater amount of calories (energy) than is required to just change the substance’s temperature. This change in phase (Evaporation-liquid to gas) absorbs a very large amount of calories from the air stream; thus lowering the temperature of the surrounding air.

 

I have a ‘swamp cooler’ I use here in Phoenix in the summer when the humidity is very low. It can produce a stream of 70 F air when the ambient temperature outside is 110 F ! The lower the ambient humidity, the better it works because the evaporation takes place at a faster rate.

Severe weather forecast.. really?  well I actually checked the weather they're supposed to be snow showers at about 7:00 this morning,,,, severe weather?? I don't know but I don't think showers constitutes. Severe weather..  but the fact that we are 20° warmer the normal if that carries through to summer we're really gonna be in hot  water---- literally.

used to be. I spent my overtime worrying about the dogs being too cold in the winter and how could I possibly stash them in a place that would keep them warm if we happen to lose electricity on which the heat in the whole place is dependent.... I always worried how I could pack them in the house the deale house nutt house all of which had wood fireplaces.. but now I'm very concerned about the air conditioning keeping the dogs cool---- my overflow unit was the deagle house which had both a wood stove And a lot of big fans... it wouldn't be perfect but it would be better than nothing... and now having been demolished by service dog project... it's basically nothing at the moment.   It strikes me as foolish to eliminate that emergency kennel..  which would hold seven dogs by shutting the gate to the alley and putting a dog in the room More than that if you can double any of them up...  Being a much smaller area it's easier to heat then these places with the cathedral ceiling like the house the guest house the laundry building... all the heat goes up into that upstairs... Janine can tell you about trying to work at home in the loft of the guesthouse... but I think we need to show concern for the heat this summer...maybe make that deagle house operational again.. seems foolish not to....

 

  I think for lack of anything better to do today I'm gonna go out and see if Home Depot at Lowe's are offering great big fans at a bargain rate because it's winter.

Someone has already sent us a good fan with a Mr. Attached.. (mister)  because spraying water does cool...  and if it's not properly adjusted it not only cools you but it makes you soaking wet like you're working in the rainforest.. which is better than 120°...  Evaporation is a cooling process... that's one of those rules like water flows downhill and heat rises...  high school physics should be given more credit... and should be mandatory for all high school seniors.  I have gotten so much more out of my high school physics and geometry then the Spanish and Latin which I was forced to take . Just knowing that triangles don't wobble has proven to be a critical piece of knowledge so many times...   experience comes from bad experience... 

 

I have a blood drawing at 8:30 and a job at Newburyport adult care center at 10... we should make it....minus judy—

 She called to say she would be late depending on the flight..

  ??? the filght??? Where are you ???  Minneapolis with my brother.-----  Judys husband is a pilot ( retired) but she still flys all over  on an “as available”  basis.  So you never know—she is the one to go get a pup in Copenhagen and be home within 24 hours...so carlie or elizabeth will fill in....- that adult care center is pretty casual so a few minutes should be ok....it is not like they have everyone sitting in a circle waiting for us with the dogs...

oh lordy--- too many things to remember at 5am-- judy called to remind me to shoot theblood thinner., themusinex, the statin, the dilantin.the antibiotic... and i forgot the this blood thinner the want me to be sure to be within an hour for a 48 hour period so they can get a good blood test.... and it is a chore to remember some are 12 hours,24 hour's and 6 hours....

my only news is.....larkey-- now that i have a samble subject ( elizabeth- right across the driveway... we fink he is "nosing " for low blood sugar..... so far at any rate...

I think it was Elizabeth who had just been diagnosed with diabeties who made me start thinking along that line...

Up to that point I had no idea what his  “problem “  so I missed many ---  but  his armpit score is now....

i would like to get to do 2 day care in the same town if we can get  the detaisl set up...everything takes time...and money to get it organized...  there is a h uge need...and judy is doing a wonderful job..... but she does not have an extra minute .. we coud stand more volunteers--- i would like to have someone else keep track of the checkbook and provide everyonw wiht a spreadsheet of expenses   so we can have an open book !!

 “to itch or not to itch---that is the question.” Is.There a correlation between  reading the dd and itching---do people who itch read the dd or does reading the dd cause itching? – I’ve had a lot of responses to “ the itch’—long ago--- maybe 25 years or so when I was itching and trying to figure out why---- there was an article in the n.y. times about a woman who scratched so hard, she scratched thru her skull into her brain...  N..Y..TIMES known for investigative jopurnalism... somehow I believe that one...  there is no tylenol for itching.... I had a lot ( maybe 7 ) responses to the itch. With variable  things that help... but not cure....

I am to the point that ... it feels good to scratch where it itches... so am I scratching an itch—or causing it so I can then scratch it??? Tis the question...

Covid is--- around---- many of the nursing homes we go to have basically accepted , isolated if convenient,   masked, and just deal... – but today....

It is the “I have no staff”  that gets to be the problem....—a nursing home without staff is not a nice place to be !!   neighbor deb and her daughter were going to go with us today too...

Boils down to  what I have long said....  the guy putting the cereal on the shelves in the supermarket—or the guy collecting the trash.. are just as critical in the circle as the guy up the chain of “pay scale” – with maybe the  trash guy being more important...  when I think  of the trash I produce in one  normal day and then think... New York City... I just cringe... couple pieces of paper towel as I wash the orange I eat for breakfast--- and the plastic Keurig coffee cup—on to egg shells and plastic bread wrapper- butter paper—jelly jar—then the hard wrapper of the needle for meds—and just try and get the individually wrapped pills out of the hard plastic..... swig some water from the plastic bottle---- and I have not been on my feet for 10 minutes yet...  and how do I say---------”just wait a minute !!!

At 3:00 AM it was nice and quiet and I thought great let me pull together the numbers the tax returns that I've only partially filled out and see if I can get them out of piece of paper and sent away I've sent away money so I don't think I'm in trouble but I have not filled out the papers and I thought that now that my survival is much more simple than it was I ought to be able to do the easy file so I got my numbers altogether it wasn't too hard I've only got two sources of income on a monthly basis and so you multiply each times 12 and I ought to have my income pretty close one of the big Social Security the other one generally gets totally spent on charities of entire sort or another so it's not complicated or shouldn't be so I thought well I'll just get the file and plug in the numbers and I'll be done with it so I dialed up irs.gov and that's when the fun started

 

I had to sign in with an e-mail and then a name but that was not to be my regular name---that's an identifying name--- so I use my e-mail address which I usually do and it went on and then I needed a password well I couldn't quite get the password right I had to type it in twice that matched and on my computer keyboard the cap lock gets stuck on without showing that the caps lock is on  the number of permutations and combinationa of cap and numbers  and symbols is infinite... which is why they want it that way----

 But it sure is tough to  fine 9 symbals when you can not see what you are typing---or if the cap lock is on...

 

I am not suited for modern living...  that square of stupid pictures  which I thought was an ad—was actually a cyphta and I was to ID  which photo had a bus in it???

 

I am hearing of many people who have been on – or are still on warfarin... interesting... if most meds are an accidental discovery, I wonder who dis covered rat poison would thin human’s blood?-

 

My life would be so much easier if I could carry both male dogs in the car at once...  I  bought muzzles. But have not had teh energy to educate them about muzzles yet,,,,,  today quick blood draw—I can only take one dog--- you should see the face in the window of the one that gets left behind !!~

? help?   Now I really have a problem.. what would you do if you got a note from your kid’s day care center which said  “ we had a dog in here who thought. Your kids armpits smelled funny” ?

Personally , I would take my  kid to the appropriate testing facility and investigate—but there are those who would write back “why did you have somewild dog near my kids armpits... he was so traumatized that he will now  only sit in the corner and eat chocolate lolly pops.  You will hear from my lawyer.”” .

The rest of the story is that we went to an adult care center yesterday which was a situation where you go in the back door and wait for the elevator which is very slow----  so sizzle stood very still with her  nose inches from the door because she knew that this situation would be that all these people would cram in this little box which would then shake a little and when the door opened you'd be somewhere else ----perfectly normal for her..  but lacky. figured it was time to say good morning to everybody and he could do that because I had taken off his collar and leash for two reasons one there was no other animal in the building and two it was a building where the residents might be inclined to grab a hold of his collar which could be a very bad thing---- so he was just relaxing with the crowd.. but he  came to one secretary and all of a sudden he was fascinated with her armpits---   well we've done this before--  and I think we are getting a line on it--- she seemed to be a very nice person so I very quickly asked  "are you diabetic?"... she said yes and at the moment her numbers were out of control because she hadn't taken her pills or whatever but her magic number was 247...

In this quest for trying to figure out what on earth he's trying to tell us, that 247 which I am told is high... two of the other people were “recently diagnosed”  by the medical profession....... which might have meant that they were still slightly out of control as medications get adjusted..  so... our numbers are now 6... but that is since we started noticing...( out of last year’s 4800 people we saw...) --- if diabetic.... why are there not more?   we were not noticing his behavior  until eliz got diagnosed 2 months ago... and does he only id ones who’s blood sugar is “ wrong”?—still a lot of questions—however....

My real problem is that ... One of the children in that kids daycare  in danvers...with a sample of about 100 kids,  he identified 1...  now if I am seeing people with diabetes being identified by him what obligation do I have to the parents to let them know about my armpit sniffing dog?

 

and how on earth do you write the letter home to the parents? so that could be today's assignment ------my approach of “just the facts” is not going to be the socially acceptable path I'm sure.. 

 

well ---this story is so bizarre that I  could not make it up.  I have not yet spoken to the manager of the daycare center but I will make a point of going there in the next few days..  I don't even know the name of the child involved... they would have to bring all those kids back in the room again and see if he does the same thing.. I have a feeling he's quite accurate.. 

 

I also hope that early in the stage what I'm sure he was doing  a year ago I didn't scold him...  which I'm almost certain I would have---- but will not anymore

 to add to  the story... Elizabeth now tells me that about eight months ago during mail call he kept flipping her arm up in the air by getting his nose under her elbow ----I probably thought that was very annoying and told him to stop..  boy would I love to find that video ----for any of you people who can find  all sorts of things that would be very interesting.  She said it was during mail call.

I have lost my marbles – truer words were never spoken !! 

i had about a pint of very carefully  “sized... with a caliper “ ½ inch marbles. And another quart of not yet sized..... and I can find neither... also known a “ must be in building 25”  so I have ordered a big bagfull of marbles FOR ZIPPER PULLS  they say are 9/16 and I am not sure they will work.. they might ... only because I am now boiling the zipper pulls. To dye them.  Yellow...and boiling does shrink the cotton thread just a “hair”   so we will see—it is tough to find actually ½. Because whoever writes those amazon ads thinks 9/16ths is close enough...

 

in the process--- the ones for SAM got packaged before dying... so she will get them---  white ones—as for a quickie on boiling... I only boil the zipper. Pulls—mostly for dye process... but please note... YOU DO NOT DROP THEM  IN BOILING WATER—START WITH COOL WATER...—I DON’T KNOW IF THAT GLASS MARBLE WOULD STAND THE SHOCK OF INTO BOILING...

PLUS—I AM NOT SURE HOW THE BASEBALL   OF THE 5 INCH WILL LIKE IT EITHER..   STAY TUNED....( LATER NOTE--- IT SEEMS TO HAVE SURVIVED)  --

WILL BE BASKING IN THE SUN... ALREADY SITTING IN THE LIFEBOAT... WITH THE NEAREST SOLID GROUND IS 2000  FEET BENEATH MY CHAIR..... WITH TEARS OF FEAR RUNNING DOWN MY FACE

With judy back,  we may... I say may....get the prize monkey fists  off in the MAIL  next 2 days?????? I had a special order of a 5 inch one—and when  I got it done I realized it looked pretty special....   So I will give the #1 winner one 5” ... one 2” and 3 1” and the runner ups get one 2’ and two  1” zipper pulls...... that 5” one has about 30 feet of rope in it !!—I use my 5 inch one to stop the door from banging the wall...  ( must not try and carry it on  PLANE—THEY WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU AS A WEAPON )

 

Now the Everyday Egg Cooker report—bydash.com-----I have only good things--- I had fresh eggs ( eliz within a day or two...) and 2 store eggs---that small cooker did both which were  shell cracked but not removed,... thrown in the icebox  unpealed for 24 hours...still pealed perfectly—maaybe it is the pin hole in the fat end--- or the fact that that pinhole stays out of the water?? I dunno.. but I have never had such success before...granted more testing is needed—but so far. It is 100% it uses a specific ¼? Cup water.. and when it boils dry it shuts off   done ...

 

2 STRAIGHT PJ DAYS. ( COLD) , AND I BETTER GET PROPERLY DRESSED TODAY..—WITH A 7AM SHOT IN MY LEG I AM NEEDING A BLOOD TEST EXACTLY 4 HOURS LATER.. a snow suit on top of pj’s is probably not acceptable in the clinic...altho that is what I wore last time I was admitted Unexpectantly....

AND I HAVE HIRED A RIDE ... FROM A WOMAN TRYING TO START HER OWN BUSINESS—OF DRIVING ELDERS. ..... she has a degree in Gerontology.hmmmmmmm I wonder what they taught about going deaf??? Sign language????- JUDY CARKIE MALARKY AND /SIZZLE HAVE ANOTHER JOB AT A. BIG DAY CARE CENTER... ...

Somewhere along the line I wrote how to achieve a well trained dog--- and then a service dog--- in 52 weeks..

.i am firmly  convinced of several things—2 of them have to do with dog training...

#1 of course spoon feeding—canned food one spoonful at a time gets attention and improves the pup’s impression of you.

#2  DANES ARE ABOVE REPETATIVE DOG TRAINING Methods---do something a couple times—2 or 3 is enough....and if they have it... move on and use that in general living conditions—like “wait”  or “leave it”.  To repeat 10 times will bore them and their minds will wander..  make it real.

Once you get the spoon feeding and puppy march down pat.  Then do the rest by adding one topic a day... you would have a well trained dog by the time they were  6 months old---or as in Georges case---9 months darn near perfect.

 

Now would that work with a dog entering the system  already out of control????  without the basic spoon feeding?   I really don’t know...  have not tried it yet... I do know there is a  Tendency to dominate instead of train as in educate......  that makes a difference...big time.  but some discipline  is necessary... as in   “ if you don’t discipline your children, the world will”

I can not tell you how many grandparents have asked me to train their grandchildren.... I prefer dogs..

If this is a little late today it's because I had a virtual book to read on the topic of warfarin.  If they had a book like that for every medication prescribed there wouldn't be a tree left in the forest..   but this book on warfarin was really very specific I must not eat it any great quantity of broccoli or Brussels sprouts that's not hard to do ---can't stand either one.. but I must also appoint someone to make sure I take the medication on schedule---- that gets a little more difficult... Because it clearly says I should take the medication at the same time every day at the point someone to make sure I have done that.. well that would be at about 7:00 at night when I take all my other bedtime pills And I suppose the easiest way to do that is for me swallow and then  to send an e-mail   “DONE”. to someone whose schedule is very reliable which would be my oldest daughter Gwen .   

 

This introductory warfarin booklet is very specific if you missed two appointments at having your blood tested they might drop you from the program and you may not be reinstated.. And at the start your blood should be tested about 3 * a week and their facility..   but there is an at home testing device which you can probably get through Medicare after about three months . ..—and my current pill must be GREEN  .regardless  of it’s shape.....

 The organization was impressive..

.i am to take a  shot Monday morning at 7 and have my blood drawn 4 hours later... pretty exactly  4 hours... so with cars, dogs, traffic and drivers, I better plan on ½ hour early. Because i don’t want to screw up this program..... and between shot and blood draw we had planned a visit to a day  center..  not sure I can risk that.

 

On that topic... we had another diabetic identification by larkey--- at trask center.. he was wandering the crowd--- and he stopped to go over one guy  more specifically with his nose--- so I asked the staff if that guy was diabetic—and they said yes....AND<<<<.   newly confirmed. Again !!! that is 4 ID’s....

 

Then he came home and went over one specific fluffy blankey with the same intensity.... which has been on their bed all week....  go figure ! I am trrying to....

 

Pellet stove rep --- it has been chilly—and I went thru more than a bag a day—luckily nick and eliz went and got me 8 bqags  -- that kind of tins worries me...generic firewood is – around here always available—but pellets????

 

Rotary visiter yesterday was a young gal—trying to start her own business—so we had a lot of laughs on that one....  but she had a person who could not bend their legs to get in a bed – when she spotted our ropes to steady someone coming down the ladder---  she thought maybe---- so I gave her and old puppy chewed one to try.....  they do work....in bathtubs, bed, kitchens,, etc,,,

 

My challenge of the weekend ( an indoor one because I don’t like the way those flags are flying-----) is to design a piece of rope for “someone” to be able to shut the door behind them whiled riding thru on a wheelchair...

 

Wellll my first challenge of the day is to do nothing at all .(. except maybe eat and sleep... ) I had a wide awake night....

do you promise to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.?   ...   well I will tell the truth unless you ask a question that I think you have no business asking ---granted I did not watch the entire show so I don't know all the details ----that never stopped me before ---  but why on earth the business of the United states should be held up while some judge asks some witness whether she or her boyfriend paid for dinner ---yeah I saw that this morning... --- I would have to answer that differently---- it strikes me that there are several times when you are expected to lie---- most of those times have to deal with shall we say intimate relationships as they so delicately put it. ----

It makes about as much sense as paying a lawyer and judge in money—or  the true currency...time.....to figure out whether  someone has the right to break and enter and destroy.. But who am I?-

 

I am on alert today for several reasons we have a daycare center to do ---hopefully around 9:30 9:45 and I must be at the cardiac care center by 11 for the first of this blood sampling to determine how much warfarin to give me.. warfarin that's the stuff they use to kill rats... but I am also amazed at how many people in this daily doggy commune  have responded by saying either they or their family member is on the same medication....  it is not uncommon. but they all say it has to be monitored very carefully... and I do note that the people that I've talked to so far in this cardiac unit, are a very friendly accommodating group..  so I'm anxious to get there and give them all a yellow monkey fist as we figure out what color pill I should be taking---  right now I am on green---I am also still shooting the Lovenox---to be adjusted this morning at 11:00 yeah

 

a very normal sounding person Susanna... it's coming here about 2:30 for social visit?? ..   she is a rotarian --  I believe..  and long ago Betsy who you all know from the jewelry  and riding mules department said the rotarians were coming for social visits to keep me entertained... well that means I really ought to vacuum the floor---but I can't vacuum the floor because I have a half completed manure wagon in the middle waiting for someone to hold the other end of a Phillips screwdriver so I can tighten the bolts and put the wheels on...  because for a normal person to walk in here it is a little alarming---   not only Gemini in the five foot long cage and two dogs not caged... a tremendous collection of ropes and string and stuff like that that you're not supposed to have in a room that you could trip over..  but there is only one room and I'm in it with all my paraphernalia..... including cameras and lights... but it is a shock to a normal person who expects things like coffee on a dining room table instead of  saw horses with a tray on top..  well we'll see...

 

On a more interesting note Lego has connected with Annenberg and build a Lego version of the wildlife crossing bridge in Los Angeles a picture of which I can close this daily doggy hopefully.....

I wonder if Lego could make a large version that cannot be swallowed for adult daycare centers---- it would certainly be very cheerful.
