june 5 2020
IT IS LIKE THE SONG  "THE GAS MAN CAME TO CALL..." WHERE  ON MONDAY....THEY HAD A PROBLEM OF NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN  ON THE GAS   TAP, THE GAS GUY  tears a hole in the wal to find teh pipes...  CREATES A CARPENTER PROBLEM - WHO CONES ON TUESDAY  WHO NAILS RIGHT THRU A CABLE SO WEDNESDAY THE ELECTRITIAN COMES  AND BREAKS A WINDOW SO THURSDAY TEH GLASIER COMES AND  MAKES PAINTING THE WALL NECESSARY SO FRIDAY THE PAINTER COMNES BY AND PAINTS OVER THE GAS TAP SO THEY CANT TURN IT ON.(by donald swann?)

WE HAD A GREEN PUDDLE THAT WAS NEARLY 100% OF TEH TIME UNDER TEH DUMPSTER-  SO TO MAKE THE WATEER OFF TEH ARENA GO THE OTHER WAY WE RAISED TEH DIRT BY THEDUMPSTER AND HAD TO CUT DOWN THE BACK DRIVEWQAy  about 18 inches... and it runs.... but itmade a steep  bank.. so we piled a lovely collection of stones to hold it... and  that is very closee to a tree that was leaning in the directionof the arena anyway   so ihave a cal l  in for a tree cutter downer.. big time... actually 3 of tehm.. more/  bigger   than  zack can cope with . which also means we really need some vegitqqtion quickly to keep the rest of the hill  on the hill... so i called teh spray grass guy.   who will spray seeds with shreaded newspaper for mulch...    shold be fineas long as our well /pump keep functioningt keep it moist...  at least that part is  working fine...  at the moment... it is watering teh flat field... denis will move the sprayer after they spray  teh seed ( without chemical weed killer...heck i would be thrilled with weeds... anything with roots)  this leaves us with a huge pile of lovelysoil to smear over the  parking pit.... except when wet, it can be slippery so theyare going to "firm it up" with crushed  stone dust kind of stuff..  of which we now have 2 huge piles  istting there to be spread today.
fyi..... delivered by  a beautiful  tri axle dump truck-- that apparently  cost $280,000 a year ago.
---
in the process... i have  become a tree expert  --- i learned to look up at the trees-- if there is no green stuff up there, the tree is dead.  and apparently the  pines die from top down    one driveway has aq 30" diameter pine  tree-- the bottom that i drive by daily looks lovely.. but the top 20 feet-- way 60  feet  up there, has no bark....  the other drivewqay has a 24" oak with no leaves... so it probably =has "ANTS" too.
when i thought we onlyu  had 2 trees to cut i thought maybe hiring a portable  sawmill  just for camera amusement. but with 5 trees, that would takeover too much of the place making lumberr.  we can do firewood splitting better.. with the oak/

i went thru 1/4 a tank of gas yesterday and never left the property.

but the water runs away from teh dumpster !!! --------this is a lifetime achievement.

teh  paving guy starts today ... on a friday????  probably line up and start monday..  this has  all the problems of leaving a footpath for dogs to get around without hot feet .

teh paving project will be more on camera than teh water running project... this will b e on the ?"driveway camera"  with the  used car lot banners flying.. ( they are to keep hawks away from little pups which we put in thagt "v" pen.)
they will be paving up around the house with a proper  car and golf cart path.

 another lifetime achievement.

i don't get a chance to think of much else at the moment.
