WATER IS VERY WILLFULL == TOO MUCH... TOOO LITTLE... OR IN THE WRONG PLACE. AND WHEN IT WANTS TO GO SOMEWHERE IT WILL GET THERE.... IT OBEYS IT'S OWN SET OF RULES.. biology has mommy nature/ laws and her schenangains but the rest of life has physics /laws AND YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT those rules.---- like water.... FROM SUNAMI'S TO BEAVERS . try and stop it, AND IT WILL FIND ANOTHER WAY. ... OFTEN WITH ENTHUSIASM
I GET A KICK OUT OF TEH LOCAL LAW ABOUT BLOCKING THE FLOW OF WATER... YOU WON'T... YOU CAN'T.. IT WILL FOLLOW IT'S OWN RULES...MOSTLY ... D O W N .... BECAUSE UP AND OVER TO FIND A --- D O W N -- CAN BE ANNOYING TO THOSE ON THE UP SIDE THAT ARE GETTING FLOODED.
I WISH HIGh SCHOOL PHYSICS TOOK THE ENTIRELY PRACTIACAL aspect of physics and forget teh more scioentific formula booklearning ntype stuff. schools wouold not need alot of money for microscopes when there is so much you can learn and demo with simple things like water... and gravity...
ever since car manufacrturers put a kink in the gas tanks they eliminated the incentive for every teenager driver to learn to siphon/steal gas ..... so we now have a whole society who can not begin to understand a sluggish /stuck toilet.---- this is not progress.
removing incentive to do anything is a national disaster.

somebody messed up my water demo where i did get water to runup and over the top of the swing set..... the 2 jars of water sit side by side now with different levels in each one . i used to drive by and feel so pleased with myself thTA THE 2 JUGS HAD IDENTICAN AMT OF WAGTER IN EACH...
i could fix it myself, but in the effort to encourage the mike rowe concept of education, i will leave it there and offer a prize for anyone of high school or college age to get it running again. sort of physics in motion ... the parts are there... as with so many physics demos the parts are around us ever day ... and we don't bother to see the posibilities.. levers lift .. inclined planes screw along with the big mover of items.. gravity.
HERE'S A FAVORITE
setting posts in a fence ... stick one end in the hole and stand it up... when it is totally balanced on it end, it is straight enough for government work. we did the flagpole that way== the 27 foot tall one by the tee tent ...using a "level" on a tapered pole was useless/. it is darn straight !!
there is a concept here
so it is possible to make a suggestion to water... sort of ... try this path ----d o w n---- you might like it..
sort of bending the wig makes the tree grow... or macdonalds happy meals
by deflecting the trickle might prevent the deluge... with water or in politics.
I DO HAVE ONE LAST WATER U[HILL PROJECT GOIBNG O;N TO TRY AND GET THE WATER DRAINING FROM TH E HOUSE AREA INTO THE POND WITHOUT THE HUGE CREVASSES ACROSS TEH DRIVEING AREAS. I AM TRYING , WITH CONCRETE BLOCKS TO MAKE A DRIVING BRIDGE WHERE WATER CAN RUN thru THOSE HOLES - i CAN NOT USE A PIPE BECAUSE IT GETS PLUGGED SO A 2 BLOCK WIDE BRIDGE with HOLEs ENABLE US TO CLEAR IT WITHOUT MASSIVE BULLDOZERS.
======
i run into physica AND GEOMETRY all the time on crazy acres BUT THE CONCENTRQTION IN HIGH SCHOOL WAS ENTIERLY BOOKISH. FORGIVE ME, THE HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE PROGRAMS MUST ha ve been WRITTEN BY SOMEONE WHO MAJORED IN LATIN .. MEMORIZE THIS FORMULA FOR THE EXAM.'
I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS... AND WILL WHEN I HAVE TIME.... IF YOU MEASURE THE CIRCUMFRENCE OF Any BALL AND IT'S RADIUS AND DIDDLE WITH THE RATIO DOES IT NOT ALWAYS GIVE THIS THIS MYSTERIOUS "PI" 3.14 ? WHICH WOULD GIVE YOU AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE MARCH 14 PIE DAY HOLIDAY.

I have been a CP since the BPs. Rarely post anything, do receive the Daily Doggie, buy Chicken Bricks, (although not as many as I wish), and regularly pray for all associated with Crazy Acres - first of all you, the trainers, volunteers, camera peeps, dogs, donkeys, mule, goats, chickens, guinea fowls - even Giselle, and of course Elvis.
-----
I laugh a lot, cry when the prayers don't work the way I wish, and talk about Service Dog Project to anyone I can corner. You are my inspiration and help me to believe better days are coming.

This girl has been a lifesaver for James. She is there when he needs her and has become a much loved part of our family. She comes into my room to give Grammie kisses. I am so grateful to the SDP for such an amazing gift. You gave James stability when he walks and me peace knowing that he has someone to take care of him. I can't wait to get back to volunteering and seeing everyone. Thank you SDP 💜
