to mask or not to mask., that is th question.  i hate to bring up a nasty topic, like mathematics, but the size of the sample has to be taken into consideration..  i "have an uncle  Louis who thinks it is ridicoulous for him to wear a mask" ---- he is totally right when he is sitting on his horse on the prarie..... but the law was passed by the folk who  live in kansas city... where the density of populatioin is  a bit more than where the next horse and rider are 3 miles away.... my decision is colored by #1... new york did not have to hire trucks with freezers just to store ice cream... and #2    in any group on tv  teh people withhe advanced degrees... like "MD" wear masks.   do i have to know more than those two?  

so i have decreed   at crazy acres... being inside buildings is very limited and  only oin personal invatation... outside... masks will be worn if 6 feet  distanceis not maintained..   teh one exception is the rest room in the laundry building....   when you gotta go ,, go there.  but reqlize it is not what you would usually call  private,  certainly we welcome our volunteers to enjoy the outdoors here... we havenever had such beautiful gardens thans to janet and grace.... and a few other weed pullers.  it is appalling what BRAINS, PHYSICAL ENERGY  AND AN UNLIMITED SUPPKY OF DONKLEY POO CAN CREAT E.

speaking of delightful exercises.... a guy... david... was in the driveway yesterday,,10 feet away and still masked...  and we got going... started on teh statistics of masks AND HOW EASY IT IS TO BELIEVE  EVERY ANGLE IF YOU TOTALLY IGNORE THE OPPOSING VIEW.. WHICH GOT TOO POLITICAL FOR COMFORT AND QUICKLY EVOLED TO THE  CURRENT TEAM OF BROTHERS VERY LIKE THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS  WITH THEIR "MOM LIKED YOU BETTER" -- THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL  COMIC RELATIONSHIP     "  YOU ONLY WORK ONE HOUR A DAY"   " I AM HERE BECAUSE MOM SAID I HAD TO BE" .. NONE OTHER THAN THE CUOMO BROTHERS..   WHEN HE GOV. THE ENTIRE HORSE WEIGHS 1000 POUNDS AND LET ME TELL YOU  THOSE LEGS FLINGING AROUND WEIGH MUCH MORE THAN ANY HUMAN  -- AND IT IS A HORSE... I,E, UNREASONABLE.. WITH A DONKEY  THEY ARE MORE REASONABLE TO DEAL WITH. BUT THE GEOMETRY IS STILL THE SAME...

AT ANY RATE SHE GOT HER HEAD AGAINST THE WALL AND PUSHED ENOUGH TO GET HERSELF UP JUST AS COLBY GOT THERE.

NOW  PERSONALLY....   ABOUT BEING UP AGAINST THE WALL.... MENTALLY...   ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS  I HAVE TO DO FOR SDP. THE PROBLEM IS  THE WRITER  DID NOT KNOW ALLTHE DETAILS.. AND THERE IS NO WAY I CAN RESPOND. 

LONG AGO AT THE START OF ALL THESE CAMERAS I WOYLD HAVE RESPONDED AND VERY WILLINGLIY ARGUED IT OUT...AND I GOT CRITIZED FOR AIRING "DIRTY LINEN " IN PUBLIC   .. I CAN SEE THAT POINT...  A REALLY GOOD ARGUEMENT IS  HAD FACE GTO FACE NO HOLDS BARRED.....  SO FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS ON SO MANY TOPICS I HAVE BITTEN MY TONGUE  AND LET THINGS ROLL OFF MY BACK...  AND I STILL THINK THERE IS NO WAY I SHOULD DISCLOSE  MANY OF THE REASONS FOR ANY DECISION...  FRANKLY , I DO NOT HAve timeto explain everything.  and now  that we have grown to  a size where an accountant is a permanent  fixture  i know... i can not argue with  his decisions... he went to school and learned stuff i don't want to know... so whatever he says... we do...   now that  same thing applies  to  fighting with   archetecs and the zoning bioard, town manager  , state of mass, or the irs..

there are rules many of which i would like to debate...  but  i have learned... some arguemets are  a waste of time.... unless you have too much time on your hands in which  case a good arguement is a delightful exercise.  ANGELS ON THE HEAD OF A PIN... GOTTA  LOVE IT !!

 WE ARE headed for rough seas....   i am told....facebook is apparently full of joyous trips  by megan and devin  to bars in nashville ..minus masks..i don't know if they realize that this state has a 14 day self quarantine  for travel INTO THE STATE.... let alone bar hopping in tenna.  and at 82 i  have to go along with the state. -----mind you, i would love to hop bars also.... but... not right now.  as for people who don't believe in masks etc.... how do they explain  why would new york  city hire so many freezer trucks... it was not to store ben and jerry ice cream ! 

i can't say "not a problem"  BUT I WILL SAY  WE HAVE JUST ONE MORE  CHALLANGE ..... we do have quite a collectionof very competent people... starting with laura who you have heaRD ME SAY COULD RUN GENERAL MOTORS WITH HER ORGANIZATIONAL   SKILLS... AND THEN JUDY WHO IS SO IMPOSSIBLY PLEASENT, SHE CAN  TALK TO THE MOST UNREASONABLE PEOPLE VERY CHEERFULLY !! ADD LINDA WHO HAS A MIND THAT REMEMBERS THINGS. LIKE WHERE SHE HAS FILED AN INCREDABLE  AMMOUNT OF PAPER CRAP. PLUS A RAFT OF STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS

COSMO WENT FOR AN OVERNIGHT---   BEAUTIFUL DOG..... JUST NOT QUITE OF THE MENTAL CAPACITY OF SERVICE DOG.    LARGE DOG. THEY GOT  TO  THIER HOUSE, AND HE HAD A PROBLEM BETTING OUT... SAME TAILGATE...  BUT HE FINALLY DID..  ONE HOPES HE WILLN OW GET BACK IN TODAY,, BUT.......

THE ONLY QUESTION THE FAMILY HAD WAS   IS HE AFRAID OF THUNDER?   THEY APPARENTLY HAD A DOG ONCE WHOI WAS A THUNDER DOG.... I SAID I DIDN'T THINK SO , BUT  I HAD NOTHIGN TO GO ON BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE KENNEL AND I  POSSIBLY WOLD NOT HAVE KNOWN.

THI S AREA IS DRY.. WE HAVE NOT HAD EVEN A SPRINKLE OF QUIET RAIN IN A MONTH ..JUST AFTER TEHY CALLED TO SAY HE HAD JUMPED OUT OF THE CAR, TEHRE WAS AN UNEXPECTED CLAP OF LOUD THUNDER-- WHICH LASTED FOR ?? AN HOUR???  WE NEED THE RAIN... I WAS PLEASED.... BUT WHY THEN??????

I HOPE COSMO WAS OBLIVIOUS TOTHE NOISE...  BUT I ALSO HOPE THEY GOT HIM DOWN FROM THEIR CHANDELIER IF HE WAS NOT...  A VERY FRIGHTENED 175 POUND ANIMAL IS  LIKE A  DRUNKEN 747 AIRPLANE.

SOME ANINMAL RIGHTS PEOPLE MADE AN AWFUL SCEENE ABOUT  ME PULLING FEAGTHERS OUR OF PEACOCKS TO SELL....  THOSE FEATHERS ARE NOT FRAGILE... I WOUOLD PICK THEM OUT OF THE MUD AND HOLD THEM BY THE STEM  IN THE SHOWER.. ONE DROP OF SHAMPOO ...., RINSE AND LET DRY FEATEHR DOWN== AND THEY LAST FOR YEARS  GATHERING DUST  IN A WINE BOTTLE INTHE CORNER OF YOUR ROOM. .

YOU SCRATCH MY BACK AND I'LL SCRATCH YOURS---our new CP"s may not know..  TO watCh teh donkey's  they nibble at each other's backs  and there is a converaasation about  wherer it itches as they wiggle ther noses and relocate  --

    we have added a new kid to OUR ranks... she  is fascinated with animals-- and is learning to "read" them by scratching the withers of the donks..  both she and her father  were thnrilled to "read" the conversation of the donks, about where it itches...   animals do talk... if we are too HARD HEADED  to be able to read them, who's fault is that?   we as a society spend millions on trying to figure out the squeaky noises a whale makes... and most of the time i hear  the "scientists"  using our frame of reference for trying to understand. WHALES    ... WE NEED MORE PRACTICE  AT A YOUNGER AGE TO  WIDEN OUR HORIZONS..... SAVE SOME MONEY  ON BOATS..... WHY NOT ... PRACTICE ON  SQUIRRELS-- OR DONKEYS.....

  I CAN GIVE YOU ONE....A WHILE AGO... DONKEYS IN BOSTON... IN A LOOSE SITUATION WHERE PEOPLE COULD MINGLE .. A BOY  WAS PATTING THE PART OF THE DONK MOST ACCESSABLE - TEH BACK.. AND HE STOPPED.... THE DONKEY TOOK ONE SLOW CAREFUL STEPO TOWARD HIM CLEARLY SAYING " DON;T STOP"  AND HE WHACKED HER AND SAID  "DANM DONKEY TRIED TOI KNOCK ME OVER"   BY APPLYING HIS FRAME OF REFERENCE HE TOTALLY MISSED TEH CONVERSATION.

  SO HERE WE HAD A DONKEY USED TO BEING SCRATCHED  BEING HIT BY A KID USED TO BEING KNOCKED OVER.

TURN THAT 180 DEGREES AND HERE AT CRAZY ACRES....  WE HAVE  WILD DONKEYS FROM THE SLAUGHTER PENS    WHO ARE ACCUSTOMED TO BEIN G KNOCKED ABOUT  BEING TOUCHED  BY THE LIKES OF TEH DONKEY MASSEUSE WOMAN..  THE FRAME OF REFERENCE HAS BEEN ADJUSTED ON BOTH SIDES...   SHE ONCE THOUGHT DONKEYS WERE STUBBORN  MINDLESS FOOLS AND THE DONKEY ONCE THOUGHT ALL HUMANS WERE MINDLESS AND INCAPABLE OF  SEEING THEIR POINT OVF VIEW. .  

 

THERE IS A TIPPING POOINT IN BOTH CASES WHERE TOO MUCH ROUGH HANDLING CASN LEAD TOI A ROUGH  -- DANGEROUS

DONKEY JUST AS... WELLL..... I AM SURE YOU KNOW WHERE THIS I S HEADED... TO  HUMANS WHO ARE  BOTH  PHYSICALLY DANGEROUS  OR MENTALLY  INCAPABLE OF Reason ..    EVERYBODY KNOWS.. OR THINKS THEY DO.... ALL DONKEYS KICK  AND YOU MUST NOT WALK BEHIND THEM-- WELL THEY CERTAINLY ARE CAPABLE OF KICKING, BUT PERSONALLY I HAVE SEEN MORE PROBLEMS WITH TEH FRONT END... THE TEETH--- GRAB  SOMETHING AND HANG ON.     THEY CAN KILL WOLVES THIS WAY...  THEY KNOW THAT  THEiR ACHILLES TENDON IS THEIR  ACHILLES HEEL .. AND WILL SPIN AND  PROTECT IT. WITH THEIR TEETH. 

IT TAKES A WHILE TO TURN THE DONKS INTO THE PLACID CREATURES THEY NATURALLY ARE.. ? HOW TO  TURN PEOPLE?   I DUNNO...

TWO ALERTS FROM THIS MORNINGS EMAILS.. FIRST IS I HAVE NOT TALKED ABOUT DOGS ENOUGH LATELY-- TOO MUCH ABOUT CHICKENS AND SHAT HOUSES  . OUCH.. THAT IS TRUE.. I HAVE DELAGATED TEH TRAINING  AND THEREFORE IT IS NOT IN FRONT OF ME,, IT  GOES ON AROUND ME... AND I DO  HAVE  INPUT ON OCASSION..... LIKE TODAY... I DID APPROVE THE EYE SURGERIES ON TEH 3 SISTERS AND DID SUGGEST WE DO LILO FIRST ... I AM COUNTING ON  EVERYONE TO REMIND ME NOT TO BREED THSE 2 DOGS AGAIN... GABBY ABD WATSON...    ENTROPIAN DOES HAPPEN AND IT IS A GENETIC THING ... OBVIOUSLY ....  WE HAVE HAD ONE OR TWO HERE AND THERE... BUT 3 IN ONE LITTER.????  DON'T NBREED TEHM AGAIN... AND I AM ON THAT ONE.  PAM IS SUPER AT THAT  BUT SHE IS HERE ONLY 3 DAYS A WEEK.. SO I NEED TO  FIGURE THAT ONE OUT BETTER.   sissle is well into demanding her boiled chicken dinners /\...  re.. the new chicken coop.....started all because we coud  not visually check on them from our usual daily path ----i got one post verticle and alreaady i have a dozen emails with everyone worried..  i can certainly understand you being worried.. do i really know whaqt i am doing?? actually no. i don't but i do know  2 points form a line   3 points a plane , water seeks it's own level, 3-4-5 willmake a right angle  and if you hammer nails in at wierd angles, they hold better and teh ultimagte decision maker is gravity.

based on that extensive knwledge, i personally built the yellow "shop"  on a bet and in a week --- pretty mu ch alone."  the t tent, and laundry building i started alone and was joined by other random people.. which is what i hope will happen here..   careful thinkers are always welcome... SDP survives on that.

the ultimate goal is to walk along the driveway andd v=be able to check the water ands food thru a window-- all the water for every animal  on this property here can be checked as anyone just wanders around normqally... except the chickens.. in my kennelrules... you nwever put the wattrer pail  "out of the way so you don't trip on it"     teh watre must be by the door .. tripping over it is better than not being able to check on it.   i have ignored the chickens too long.

now  the  generic   FYI  for the day--  there is some kind of building boom around here anyway......   there is a shortage of lumber- for whatever reason i do not know.  first clue.... i can not seem to get jack .. or qany onther talented carpednter to put in the framoing for the garqge door...even standing around on a sunbday with cash in hand....   next clue... the lunmber companuy i usually use -- the phone is constantly busy..and when i finally got them, he said they could not deliver for 5 days.... usually they say something like  "we can have it there a 3:20" .. and tehy do. "bring your trailer and we can load you today"  -- so i did that only to find  they did not have exactly what i listed  ... namely 14 foot  4x4's  pressure treated... and no   2 x 6 x 12' ...

so  with difficulty.....i hooked up my beautiful --- still fairly new dump trailer ( still full of bricks that i have not found a home for yet) proving once again   i have a biinary rright/left problem as denis tried  to tell me the correction to dgt under the trailer hitgch...   finally i gave him a  white coffee cup to put on the hitch so i coud see it betterr in tghat backj up camera and had no gtrouble.   i could not call ahead because the phoen line wqs busy  so i just drove there and the "yard" was full of trucks picking up stuff..  once haveing  pulled in  i realized   it was going to be a challange to back out... but i love a challange... so with trailer attached i continued forward into the shed  to get someone's attention without having to get out.

men... gotta love how some have the instinct to attack an unprotected female-- "hey jack some idiot woman has her trailer stuck in the shed" ---   i was teh "some woman'  but iu was by no means stuck...- there was no where else to park-- plus  they know me there.  so as they gathered my list and the yard cleared of all the tractor trailers i just backed  out and paralell parked in  the yard without having to  pull forward once.   experience comes from bad experience...

i remember........... we had a filmiong at some fancy country club in ? newton?   and i had a fairly new tractor trailer size -- fifth wheel...  stock trailer  and pulled down a line of very expensive cars   parked onboth sides of the long  driveway...  it took a long time  but i got alot of experience  backing out of there !   there are alot of stories about me getting in trailer trouble  in boston  traffic with that rig... i only dented it once.... in my driveway wen i hit my regular trailer with that  big one..... a distinguishing feet of denting 2 trailers at once.

i also know exactly what gridlock is....  and why you must never pull into an intersection if you can not  pull all the way thru theat  intersection.

 so back to the SHAT HOUSE    todqays goal is th get the second post up  exactly 16 feet ( outside measurement) from the first..  at whichpoint   life will get serious... if denis can then  pound sticks in the corners  with a horizontal  board, we can take the weekend trying to  make the  thing square  where the diagonals are equal...   because until they are equal. it is dangeous to proceed...   that will taKE SOME  BASIC GEOMETRY  DOING OF 3 4 5   TRIANGLES    AND STRING THAT DOES NOT STRETCH....

Hello Carlene and Linda, Megan,and Devin and all SDP family,

This is Sandy Jones in Tennessee.

I woke up this morning just feeling so very BLESSED and Emotion of Thankfulness for everything you all have done for Johnny and Myself  for the gift of new life for us!

I wake up so happy because I look forward to seeing my Lady Ripple first thing.

Our routine  is she jumps in bed with me and we have our lovey time, then I get in my wheelchair and take her to the door to go out into her fenced back yard, and me to mine.

She will not leave the screened porch until Johnny or myself will go out and sit and then she will go on out!

I come out and sit on a swing where Johnny and I drink coffee and watch her run her relays and then her potty needs.

Then she comes in and lays on her outside bed wish me, so we decided what direction to take for the day.

She eats and drinks and here we go if things off the day.

She is so happy to get her vest on because this means we are going for a ride!

She loads up, and is so much help to my task of the day.

She stays right with me and now so protective she watches everything a doctor or nurse does to me and puts her head on me and wants to see what they are doing!

They all love her and show her what they are doing so she’s not so concerned.

If Johnny tries to help me at rest time at home she jumps up and goes between us saying NO this is my job and my Mama!

If Johnny hugs me she gets in between us, if I’m on my phone she takes her nose and pushes sway saying you need to pay attention to me!

If I’m having a down day she lays on the bed with me and we nap and watch TV together.      

It’s so funny because she always takes Johnny’s side of the bed

Saying no room for you!😂

We are always as one!

She is my legs to walk, she gets me up when I fall, she is my best friend besides Johnny, she brings so much comfort to never be alone, she gives me a reason to face my day!

Johnny loves her so much and hard on him to leave us alone and not pet when on, he is our Wing Man trying to protect us from the public so we can work.

We are a happy family!

I just wanted to take the time to Humbly say God Bless each of you and Thank You for our gift of life.

YES WE ARE A SERVICE DOG ESTABLISHMENT..  OUR CHOCKJENS ARE A VERY CRITICAL FUND RAISER AND  VOLUNTEERS DOI LIKE THE FRESH EGGS.. WHERE THY NOW ARE IS A JUNGLE OF  CHAIN LINK AND 5 DIFFEREBT GROUPS MEANING 5 DIFFERENGT WATERING DEVICES AND FEEDERS..    WITH SOME OF THE PENS BEEING FAR TOO  SMALL..  PUTTING THEM ALL TOGETHER WILL GIVE THEM ALL PROBABLYT 1/4 AN ACRE OF MESSY WEEDS TO PICK AT.   I WILL TRY ADDING THE TURKEYS TO THE CHICKENS.. BUT INTHE CONSTRUCTION PHASE, I WILL TRY THE TURKEYS INWITHTHEGOATS....   THAT BIGGER TURKEY WAS HAND TAISED AND KEEPS LOOKING FOR COMPANY -- I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE WILLFEEL ABOUT GOATS... BUT IT WOULD BE MORE ROOM.. POULTRY IS MESSY IF YOUDON;T KJEEP UP WITH IT.  THOSE CHICKENS WILL EATG ABOUT ANYTHING, AND ARE THERFORE PERFECT   PLACE FOR  just a few KITCHEN SCRAPS to give them a varied diet...   IF YOU KEEP  IT THROWN AWAY EVERY DAY .. OTHERWISE...  the stench is.. typical... garbage... 

if i can just get the 2 center posts in.... how wrong can i go??? 2 points for m a line...  youcold argue they shold be down 4 feet... but i can tell youthat is not gonNA happen...   wht happens if youdon't go belowe teh frost?  just look at the t tent cupula  -- the roof sags.. well it has been sagging very nicely for 20 years  and if i had to go down 4' i would never even start.... i don;t have a "t-square".....    i used to -- but it is prob ably lying in the grass around here somewhere.WITH 4  CROW BARS ETC --  A SIX FOOT CROW BR IS ONLY ABOUT AN INCH TALL INTHE GRASS.   GRASS HIDES TOOLS....  SO I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE 3-4-5 TRIANGLE PROCESS FOR THE RIGHT ANGLES.

THEN THERTE IS THE  BIT ABOUT  THERE IS NOT MUCH WEIGHT ON THE CENTER POSTS... ALL THE WEIGHT WILL BE ON TH WALLS- THOSE ROOF RAFTER S JUST PUSH ON EACH OTHER.  I HOPE TO PROCEED  " ONE BOARD AT A TIME.."   LIFTED IN PLACE WITH  HAY STRING.  AND SINCE THE GROUND IS NOT LEVEL, MY SIPHONE HOSE WILL HAVE TOWORK OVERTIME.

Pixie labs came back let's smile �� her platelets came back at 185,000 such wonderful news. She lost 7 pounds to which is great for her. We are keeping her meds the same since we will be moving and she's doing good on her meds dr Harley doesn't want any set backs. Her counts have been stable. We did add Tylan 1/4 teaspoon to breakfast to help w bowels. She still has trouble with her belly issues. She took to it well today. We are going back for a recheck at the end of July or beginning of august.

 i have a request on  how to train a dog to alert for a deaf person...  most dogs have that built in by the knocking on the door....they will run to you and clearly say" open that door so i can bark at them"    i can tell you how i started-- object being to make a repetitive noise .. in my case i bought a $1.98  battery fired  doorbell  . as i sat watchign tv i started it  on off on off.. and encouraged to dog to come to me for a cookie. doesn't take  too long   they already know that part... try opening a box of cookies... the come to you for that noise.......----- next string some wire and have the bell ring 20 or so feet away .. with a cookie on top of it.   granted  to start with you will be leading the dog to  teh bell but with encouragement and excitement the dog will get the idea of comeing to you and telling you t here is a cookie by teh bell..   it is a small jump to a different noise...  like person calling you over and over.   dog has to come get you and take you to the source  of teh noise..to get the cookie.  few minutes couple times a day and within a week  they have the idea.. REPETATIVE NOISES PRODUCE COOKIES...  FROM THERE IT IS OVEN TIMERS AND TELEPHONES...

PEGGITY WAS TEH DANE I TRAINED FOR A WOMAN WHO HAD A BALANCE PROBLEM AND WAS DEAF.... SHE WENT TO LIVE IN PENNA AND THE TRAINING DID WORK AS PEGGITY WOKE HER OWNER UP WHEN THE FIRE ALARM STARTED AND WAS CREDITED WITH SAVING  AN ENTIRE APT BUILDING... I WOULD HATE TO GUANRENTEE MY TRAINING FOR THAT ... BUT IT SURE WORKED THAT TIME.  

THAT IS ONE THING OUR TRAINING IS ABOUT ... WH EN YOU ARE CONFUSED  COME TO US.

NOW IT IS ABOUT OUR CHICKEN DEPARTMENT--- IT IS A SHAMBLES-- I AM ASHAMED OF TEH MESS...   I HAVE NOT GONE NEAR THE CHICKENS IN YEARS.... FEED  ADN WATER 5 DIFFERENT  GROUPS WHILE WALKING 200 FEET TO  AND FROM THE WATER SOURCE.???   /  FIRSTLY  WE NEED ONLY ONE GROUP  WHICH MEANS WITH 2 ROOSGTERS, WE NEED TO FIND A HOME FOR  ROOSTER #2  ( WHIHC I HAVE DONE.. WITH ONNE HEN FOR COMPANY)   WE NEED TO HAVE CHICKENS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEEM AND THEIR WATER ETC ON A REGULAR BASIS..  IN THE PROCESS IT WOLD BE INTERESTING TOHAVE THEM ON CAMERA...  SO I AM TRYINT TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO BUILD A CHICKEN COOP IN THE "V" PEN ON TEH DRIVEWAY CAMERA.  I THINK I CAN BUILD A COOP AND NOT BLANK THE VIEW OF THE POND OR HONEYMOON HILL..

SO TODAY  I  WILL  QUICKLY POUND SOME REBAR IN POSITION AND SLIDE WHITE PVC PIPE OVER THEM TO DESIGN THE BUILDING.  THIS CAN TAK A WHILE   AND  MANY REVISIONS..   IF YU LOOK CAREFULLY NOW, AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PLASTIC SLIDE IS A WHITE ROPE WHICH  

IS FROM THE CAMERQA TO SEE WHAT IS "  ON CAMERA" ---NOW WHERE TO PUT WALLS AND ROOF ! 

  MAYBE THE OLD COOP CAN BE A CLUTTER CONTROL BUILDING.. IF THERE IS ANYTHING WE DO VERY WELL IS ACCUMULATE CLUTTER.!

 MY BUILDINT TECHNIQUES USUALLY GO VERY QUICKLY... PLYWOOD COMES IN 4' X 8' ..  THOSE 2 X 4 PIECES OF WOOD ARE 1.5 AND 3.5   AND PUT THEM  EVERY 16 INCHES  ( 16" ON CENTER.)... SO WITH CAREFUL PLANNING I HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO PUT UP A WALL AN HOUR.

FO LAND THE POST ACCURATELY BECOMES NECESSARY-- THINGS LIKE  VERTICAL WITH PERFECT DIAGIONAL MEASUREMENTS . 100 YEARS AGO... WITHTHE FIRST DEAGLE HOUSE I BUILT, , I WAS OFF BY 3/4 ON THE DIAGIONAL AND  FIGURED WHAT TEH HECK..BUT BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE ROOF  THAT 3/4" HAD TURNED INTO SEVERAL INCHES....NECESSITATING HUGE ADJUSTMENTS IN THE ROOF.   NOTHING WAS "SQUARE"   NOT EVEN CLOSE.

WHEN I DESIGEND TEH KENNEL AS IT NOW STANDS  #1 TO #8   I USED PILES OF CARDBOARD AND DUCT TAPE TO GET A GOOD LOOK AT WHAT WENT WHERE AND DID DOGS FIT UNDER THE LOFTS.???... I HAVE A PICTURE SOMEWHER OF TALL" BROWNIE" SGTANDING UNDER THE CARDBOARD FOR MEASURING.  SO TODAY IT WILL BE PVC PIPE AND MILES OF ROPE.  IT WOULD BE SIMPLE IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE CAMERA AND IT'S WIDE ANGLE BIT.  THE ROOF KEEPS GETTING IN THE WAY.

DENIS WILL BE BACK TO HELP-- HE NOW HAS MONDAY TUES OFF. HE WILL ALSO BE REORAGANIZING THE BARN  ROOM...

WE COULD USE MORE  VOLUNTEERS FOR DOG WALKING AND DONKEY TENDING AND BRUSHING..   I HAVE BEEN TOLD PEOPLE ARE "WAITING TO COME BACK...I HAVE NO  COV KNOWLEDGE WHATSO EVER... I DOI NOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS NOW ALRIGHT TO EAT AT RESTAURANTS WHEN THERE WERE FEWER CASES 3 MONTHS AGO WHEN IT WAS FIORBIDDEN ----

 KEEP IN MIND IF YOU DO SOMETHING THEY DO NOT LIKE... THEY KICK... SO BE SURE TO STAY ON  THE MORE FRIENDLY END.. RE WELCOME AT THEIR OWN RISK....AND TEH 10'  DISTANCE SHOULD BE MAINTAINED...(AND  I MEAN TO INCLUDE  A BRAND NEW VOLUNGTEER  FROM  YESTERRDAY )

THEN CUT IN ABOUT 1 INCH CHUNKS...  TO PUT IN THE FRY PANS....   THE FRONT END WILL BE VERY FRIENDLY  AND FEEDING THEM  WITH FRY PANS OVER THE HAY FEEDER SHOULD BE 100% SAFE.  . THERE IS A SIGN IN THE BARN THAT WARNS .. ANY ASSOSIATION WITH EQUINES IS DANGERIU S IUN TEH FIRST PLCE AND YOU ARE IONB YOUR OWN...  I THIN K IT WAS GEORGE BUSH SENIOR THAT   GOT THAT LAW INSTALLED..

AFTER SOME 40 YEARS OF DONKEY MANAGEMENT, I FIND HORSES TO BR FAR MORE UNPREDICTABLE..  THE DONKS HAVE BEEN PERFECT IN THOUSANDS OF SITUATIONS... BUT  TEH THERE IS ALWAYS  A FOOT TO BE STEPPED ON OR HEAVEN FORBID A FINGER THAT IS MISTAKEN  FOR A CARROT  -- HENCE THE FRY PANS...  DISASTER TIME OF YEAR IS CHRISTMASD WHEN KIDS ARE EATING  AND SLOBBERING ON THERI HANDS WITH CANDY CANES THAT ARE PEPPERMINT-- EQUINES LOVE PEPPERMIONGTS..    THEY ARE USUALLY  LIKE A NARCOTIC TO A HORSE OR DONLK -- I DONLT LIKE TO HAVE THEM AROUND.. STICK TO CARROTS... THEY HAVE ONLY A NORMAL ATTRACTION..    HORSE VETERNARIANS SOMETIMES CARRY PEPPERMINT LIFE SAVORS...   WE DON'T ALLOW THEM HERE.    CARROTWS, APPLES, DRIED BAGELS PIECES   ARE ALL  OK

AND TEHY ARE NOT..  IT AGAIN IS A DO IT YOURSELF OPERATION BUT START SCRATCHING THERI BACK  AND SLOWLY GET TO THE TOP OF THERI FRONT LEGS.. AND MAYBE AFTER 3 OR 4 DAYS YOUMIGHT AT LEATS TOUCH A LOWER FRONT LEG..  WE HAVE PLENTY OF  FLY SPRAY-- A GALLON OR TWO  ) WE USE ABSORBINE ULTRA SHIELD ON A WASH CLOTH... )  AND WE HAVE ALOT OF LEG WRAPS, BUT USING EITHER AT THE MOMENT IS IMPOSSIBLS SINCE THEY ARE STILL TERRIFIED OF HUMANS..... EVEN POCKETS NEEDS HANDLING MORE  AND SHE KNOWS TRICKS !!

GOOD OLD NEW YORK.. AS WHACKY AS NEW YORKERS CAN BE..  THEY DID GET PULLED TOGETHER AND .THEY HAVE TEH INFECTION RATE DOWN TO  -1...   THERE ARE TIMES WHEN THEY COME THRU... I REMEMBER PEOPLE WALKING ACROSS TEH GEORGE WASHINTON BRIDGE.  UI FORGOT WHY... NUTTY AS THEY CAN BE, NYC CAN GET ITSELF PULLED TOGETHER..... ONE GETS THE OPINION THEY ARE NEW YORKERS FIRST- AND AMERICANS  AFTER THAAT........ MAYBE..... 

ONCE....   I SAW A POSTER OF THE CONTINENTS OF THE WORLD,, AND TEH BIGGEST  CONTINENT BY FAR WAS MANHATTAN  EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AN APPENDAGE.

HENRY.... HIS TEMP IS NORMAL  AND HIS INCISION  IS  COLLECTING FLUIDS AND  DISOPENSING A GLOB  ABOUT EVERY 4 HOURS.. WE DID TRY AND GO TO THE VET  CLINIC YESTERDAY--- TEH WEB SAID THEY WERE OPEN.... AND WEREN'T -----  IF THAT  TEMP HAD CONTINUED TOCLIMB WE WOUOLD HQAVE HAD TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY HOSP....  BUT IT SGTAYED WITHIN "UNEXCITING RANGE"  LESS THan 104.5..  so with sponge bath with fan  and antibiotic severalof which we have on hand..  i think it is under control.. temp tjis morning is 101 and other than a very messy hole in him  which exudes redish goop....  , we will wait for the off ice to open..   i don't know if we are giving the right antibiotic, but it was a best guess tyoe decision.

sleeping with a 170 pound great dane under your bed is noT conducive to a full nights sleep.. bentley, who is terrified of  buzzing flys since  he and i were electricuted by th KONE elevator.....( i have to get that KONE name out there in case anyone can come up with  an executive at  kone who can say something besides "you are 79, go buy another dog" )  ... so bentley has decided he is safe with his head ... and alot of the rest of him ... stuffed under my bed.  i have never allowed a dog to sleep in my bed  and  i never  before had teh problem of tryihng to sleep while some one or some thing in my bed  chased squirrels. it is a problem in fly season...    in which we now are.

if he was not so terrified  i would chase him out-- but if there is a fly buzzing in the house at all he  is uncontrollable.. one of thos complications of electrocution with which  the legal dept at KONE  had no sympathy.  it was a very long story, but geroge myers summed it up well " they will just out wait you"

NEW SCHEDUOLE TO DAY... I HOPE ALL GOES WELL...  I TRY AND HQAVE PAID STGAFF TO BE HERE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BASIC HEALT AND  CARE...  BEYOND THAT  THE VOLUNTEERS FILL IN WITH THE COMFORT AND AMUSEMENT  PART .   I SAY  QUITTIBNG TIME IS 4PM FOR ALOT OF STAFF...   BUT  IF AT THAT POINT  OF "ROUNDUP "   NOT EVERY ANIMAL IS FED WATERED AND COMFORTABEL NOBODY LEAVES !!  PLAN AHEAD  SHOULD MAKE HTAT A DO-ABLE THING.   THEY CAN NOT LEAVE IT FOR ME TO DO...I JUST CAN  NOT... SO IT IS FRIGHTENING FOR ME TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE ANIMALS WHEN  ALL I CAN DO IS HOPE THAT IF IT IS NOT THE LOVE  OF ALL THESE  DEPENDENT ANIMALS   THEN  STAFF IS IN DEBT ENOUGH  TO BE AS DEPENDENT ON THIER PAYCHECKS.....  

I FRIGHTEN ALOT... LIKE PUPPIES COMING.... WILL  OUR CHICKEN BRICKS BE AFFECTED IF THE STOICK MARKET CRASHES???  

I AM ALSO CONVINCED ONE CAN NOT LIVE ON BREAD... OR  FEAR...  ALONE.

 first emergency of the day..... henry has a trip to the vet's this morning... a rather indelicate problem of bleeding into the little left over bags which are no longer little   and  apparently has become infected ... luckily this vet is open on sunday morning,

people... volunteers  are re appearing.. and soooooo much is getting done... outside mostly   janet is our resident horticulturalist and teh various things she has plantged are thriving..  thankfully we havev that well to keep everythingwqatered... i think it has run constantly for 10 days now...... green is growing  --- i can not say with a straight face" the lawn"  it is far from lawn ... but it is green... 

tomorrow we get back on pre cov schedule..  with a few adaptations..  if we get on a better schedule using these voolunteers better, we can have more animals  on camera  partticularly  the puppy hill camera  in the shade by the swing set. mommy donk does love that grass... and it is good for her. and the volunteers love it... like  getting these  donkeuys gentled...  mommy is pretty good with all teh massaging.. but ?pick up her feet?    this needs doing... if not picking at least wiping themdown wiht fly repellent,, all it takes is organization, and younger legs than mine.  having one strong post to tie donkeys to would be helpoful   i don't knwo how many of you saw janine hanging on to a wild donkey getting flung around like a  wet dish rag... she did not let go.. and to have to pay bryaN to come da=eal out granquilizers to donkeys only because our volunteers have not  spent time rubbing. scratching. wiping and feeding out of  fry pans to get these anims more reasonqable.

 there are complications... like  you can't easily get in with the donkeuys if the goats are there--- nor can  i tqake down the high fence to play withteh don's because of the goats... and teh goats  should be eating the weeds in the "A"  pen  again   younger legs than mine..    they do folloew very nicely...  but you can not do that if tehre is any chance if a doig v=being loose,,  they would run and dogs would chase... and you end uo with either a dog getting klunked/ BUTTED  intghehead or goat =getting badly bitten..   so for lack of some volunter help     we takethe easy way out

FIND A PERSON TO LET SIZZLE AND JIMINEY OUT OF THE CONDO WHEN  I BLOW THE HORN SO THEY CAN JOIN IUS.

BY THE TIME I GET ALL THAT TOGETHER I HAVE FORGOTTEN WHERE I WAS GOING...

 AND IT IS TIME FOR LUNCH ANYWAY.

I KEEP THINKING IT IS MY AGE--- AND IT WELL COULD BE,,  BUT I DEFY, ANYONE TO MANAGE  JUST   TEH 3 WIRELESS PHONE SYSTEMS  WITH THIER 11 INDIVIDUAL BLACK HANDSETS SCREAMING NIGHT AND DAY "LOW BATTERY"  FROM BEHIND EVERY SOFA CUSHION OR UNDER   TEH WAD OF PAPERS ON MY  ... OTHER DESK.... IN THE OTHER ROOM...

I HAVE TO USE THE CAR AND NOT MY LOVELY GOLF CART BECASUE 600 POUNDS OF DOGS  DO NOT FIT ON THE ONE GOLF CART....

 TEH NUMBERS  OF PEOPLE WATCHING OUR CAMERAS  THE DAY OF THE BIRTH WERE LOVELY- BUT I KEEP THINKING THEY COULD BE HIGHER  IF MORE PEOPLE KNEW  THERE IS LIFE BEYOND THE NEWS -- ESPECIALLY WITH THIS COV BIT...  HAVING A SCREEN SAVER OF PANDAS FALLING OUT OF TREES, BEARS CATCHING FISH .. OR  OUR BABY DONKEY..  IS SO MUCH NICER  THAN MEN WITH SHAVED HEADS SITTING READING  STUFF WRITTEN DAYS AGO .. NOT TO LEAVE THE  WOMEN OUT... MOST ( YOU WATCH) OF THE WOMEN NEWSCASTERS HAVE  ONLY ONE EYE   NEARLY BLINDED BY DROOPING HAIR.  

  HOW DID ALL THAT  BECOME THE NORM.? 

NOW THAT WE ARE TO WEAR MASKS... AND I THINK  WHEN IN  PUBLIC, THAT  SHOULD  BE MANDATORY....THE REST OIF THE WORLD IS DOING SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN =THE USA...  STOP TELLING ME  WE HAVE  THE FINEST HEALTH SYSGTEJS...  WE JMAY HAVE FINEST HOSPITALS BUT  THIS PANDEMIC IS PUTTING DEMANDS ON THE INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE AND  THEIR  PERSONALL HEALTH PRACTICES ... AT THAT THE USA IS DREADFULLY DEFICIENT... A HEALTH SYSTEM STARTS WITH THE INDIVIDUAL... LONBG BEFORE TEH INSURANCE COMPANY TAKES OIVER AND TELLS US WHAT  WE SHOULD  GET SICK WITH AND WHAT HAS TO BE RE CODED IF WE WANT COVERAGE.  I WONDER IF ALLTHSE COV PATIENTS LINING GTHE CORRIDORS OF THE ER'S IN NEW  ORLEANS.. DID SOMEONE RUN AROUND  WITH A CLIPBOARD PULLINGOIUT THE VENTALOATORS ASKING TO INSURANCE  INFORMATION??? 

HOW DO WE FEEL ABOUT THE MUSLIM  ATTIRE OF  FACE COVERINGS --  COURSE ITIS  ONLY THE WOMEN WHO COVER THERI FACES...  3000 YEARAS AGO WAS THERE A PANDEMIC WHICH AFFECTED ONOLY THE WOMEN  NAD THIS IS HOW THEY STOPPED THE SPREAD..?? ACTUALLY I DOUBT IT.. BUT THOSE FACIAL COVERINGS  LOOK MORE COMFORTABLE THAN MY 95 MASK

Hello Carlene and Linda,

Lady Ripple here just to update to on my very fast and happy life!!!

Me and Mama being so new and not allowed to go in public to work and Mama having surgery has given us some catching up to do.

So we went to a very hot place with a BIG bath tub that moved all the time!!!!

Mama said Florida, well I didn’t like that water or heat too much, but Mama put this cool looking coat that said Cooling Jacket and I laid on a nice bed under a top and I just watched everyone going into that crazy water from a distance.

I got lots of attention and maybe spoiled me a little so Mama say’s I’ve got to stop looking around for my Fan Club!  And since home I’l I’m getting back to what y’all taught me to do, my job!

Oh! We were at the hospital for another something for my Mama and when we left, we passed another 4 leg SD person like me,(but not as cute as me) anyways Mama and Me walked past them and much to my surprise that fellow person got up and barked at me and tried to come hurt me!

The person with her pulled her back and was holding her until we got by.

That really scared me!

I looked up at my Mama and said with my pretty eyes, what happened Mama?

I thought we were suppose to ignore each other as part of my job?

Mama looked at me and loved me and said, you did your job and so proud of you.

So I think we are doing pretty good together and a good team💕

I’m sending y’all some pictures of our adventure and my new tennis shoes with lights in them, I think we are having big fun with them and I feel so happy wearing them!

My feet don’t burn on the ground either, oh, and did you notice my Southern talk now?
