EVERY DANE IN THE COUNTRY WILL GET BLAMED ON US-- SO WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPENE...IF POSSIBLE...

Hi Carlene,

A year ago today, Clark came home to Cincinnati with me. It seems like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time! Clark has helped me to walk faster and my gait has improved. And, he is always there to make me laugh and make sure life doesn't get too serious. :)

When we had boarded the plane to fly home on Wednesday, I looked up to see that one of the airline workers was coming to talk to me. He let me know that a family who had been on the flight to Boston a few days before had commented to him that Clark was so well behaved. It's so great to hear compliments like that, especially when we are doing something outside of the normal routine, like traveling. And no one said anything about Clark being too big for the plane!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Starlets' birthday party last week or celebrated in spirit! It means so much to have such a great community rooting us on.

Also--I am doing some grant writing in my classes. If there is ever something that I could do to help apply for grants for SDP, please let me know. I'd love to help!
