we are off and running strong on the Charlie Challange of "Standing Ovation Sunday" which you may get to off our web by clicking the donate- i can not begin to tell Charlie the difference he has made in teh past 24 hours.... i promise to spend it wisely- and the serious pressure is off... while the rest of teh cp's maintain a very much smaller fun fund for "things not necessary but interesting."
there are sooo many things in my head-- certainly this fundraiser gets top billing-- i think i have it straight--- and at 6:30 am we are up to $10,000- i think mostly because we are a 24 hour website with people around the world.. literally... in other time zones... so that is priority.
however.... even briefly, this is complicated...
before all the fundraiseing started, i decided to buy 2 pups from germany-- based on a week's study of teh details -- mostly that the mother is the imaage of chaos... leaving goldie out of it... 2 available pups-- from germany.
i got them paid for with minimal confusion-- and tehn pet air needed payment information... vineet-- nice man-- worked with him before- just needed a charge card number-- so i gave him this paypal debit card i now carry-- sounded wonderful..... except...... I REMEMBERED.... last tiem i did this... the bank stopped payment to czech paypal for the shipment of sir richard-- and that got messy but we made it.- so i tried to call someone--- the presure was on because the banks were not open here yet-- and were about to close in germany anyone -- anywhere-- i needed to tell someone tehre is a charge of $2000 coming from germany which is legitimate--
firstly it was not clear whetheer this debit card was attached to a bank account...( my ebay account with very little money money in it) -- so i tried to transfer $2000 TO PAYPAL BALANCE -- WELL AFTER PUSHING THE BUTTON... IT SAID IT MIGHT TAKE 3 TO 4 BUSINESS DAYS-- PUPS FLYING ON MONDAY-- SO I TRANSFERRED MONEY INTO THE BANK TO COVER TEH 2000 JUST IN CASE IT FLIPPED TO THAT "SOURCE"
the bank person-- nice woman from india jst coudn not quite get what i was trying to do- SHE KEPT THINKING I WAS TRYING TO STOP PAYMENT... -- AS I AM TRYING TO EXPLAIN IN ENGLISH, CHAOS DECIDED TO BARK AT LINDA COMING UP THE WALK -- SO I YELLED "WILL YOU SHUT UP" AT WHICH POINT THE nice WOMAN FROM INDIA HUNG UP AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONTAct anyone since...
we hope Vineet gets paid and gets the pups on the plane at 1am our time - because monday is a bank holiday here and i will never be able to straighten it all out at 1:02 am on monday.

we have some interesting people here from bergin university who are in a course in training service dogs.. i wonder why/ how bonnie bergin got to be a university-- she/ they certainly know alot of big words for things we do - but have a very significant approach=== to prove anything , we really need to try and raise a litter of labs as we do the danes then see if there are some changes to consider. i have donated dogs to other training facilities, but the other places have not been made aware of how we handle danes.... it is different.
