TWO QUICK THINGS....
BAG ON LEASH IT SEEMS LOGICAL TO TIE A BAG TO A LEASH, EXCEPT  IF YOU SHOULD HAPPEN TO DROP THE LEASH, 75% OF THE  DOGS WOULD NOTICE THE BAG MOVING WHEN THEY DID AND PAANIC- JUST AS A HORSE DOES... AND CAN GET RUNNING MADLY ABOUT BEING CHASED BY THE BAG THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND.. I WOULD SUGGEST NOT EVEN TRYING IT EXCEPT IN VERY CONTROLLED SITUATION S LIKE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE... ONCE THEY ARE USED TO IT, FINE... BUT IT IS SOMETHING I SUGGEST IS NEVER DONE...

THE ADS FOR THE MSPCA... I AM SO TIRED OF HEARING ... "FOR 19 CENTS A DAY YOU CAN SAVE A POOR STARVING ANIMAL"  SO I LOOKED UP THE SPCA'S 990 IRS FORM  WHICH IS PUBLIC INFORMATION. AND THE AMT OF MONEY PAID TO THERI EXEC'S IS HORRENDOUS..  CARTER LUKE - CEO GETS NEARLY 1/2 MILLION A YEAR WHICH FIGURES TO  ABOUT 1350 PER DAY
THIS MEANS IF CARTER LUKE COULD MANAGE TO SKIP ONE DAYS PAY , HE COULD SAVE OVER 7000 ANIMALS FROM THE COLD STARVING THIER AD TALKS ABOUT..

THESE EXEC'S OF BIG COMPANIES ARE MORE THAN WELL PAID... WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THE MONEY?  HAVE THEY FOUND A SOURCE OF WHIPPED CREAM THAT IS NOT FATTENING???... HOW MANY PAIRS OF SHOES DOES ONE NEED?  EVEN LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY I WOULD HAVE TROUBLE SPENDING 1350 EVERY  DAY ---MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE, BUT --DAY AFTER DAY. ??

I HAVE HEARD- AND WISH IT WAS TRUE HERE-- THAT IN NORWAY? SWEDEN? ANY FINES ASSESED ARE A % OF THE PERSON'S INCOME-- WHICH MAKES ALOT OF SENSE.. I COULD DESIGN A SLIDING SCALE VEYR QUICKLY-- A PARKING TICKET..  .0001 ---- A SPEEDING TICKET....01-- THAT WOULD WORK OUT TO A PERSON WITH AN INCOME OF $50,000  WOULD HAVE A $5 PARKING TICKET AND A $500 SPEEDING  AND CARTER LUKE INCOME OF ABOUT  $500,000 WOULD HAVE A $50 PARKING TICKET AND A $5000 SPEEDING -----DAY LATE ON YOUR INCOME TAX?    .002  WOULD EARN THE TAX POOL $100 FROM ONE AN$1000 PER DAY FOR OTHERS...DRUNK DRIVING FINES??   MIGHT REALLY MAKE MONEY.- AND RIGHTLY SO.
FORGET ALL THESE DEDUCTABLES-- USE THE GROSS FIGURE...  SINCE ALL THE FINES WOULD BE FOR BREAKING SOME LAW OR ANOTHER , IT WOULD  BE  TREATING EQUALLY BIT..
JAYWALKING??? PASSING A SCHOOL BUS?   I COULD HAVE A FIELD DAY-- SOLVE THE NATIONAL DEBT.. AND WE WOULD HAVE TH EMOST LAW ABIDING CITIZENS...

I AM LATE BECAUSE I GOT TO READING SEAGRAM'S STORY-- AMY DOES WRITE WELL - IT IS HER DAY IN NEW YORK CITY FROM SEAGRAM'S STANDPOINT-- WELL DONE-- AND ON FACEBOOK-   HERE IS A SMALL PORTION...

Often I share a detailed description about our adventures but thought that I would do something different this time. See, this trip to New York City was primarily about getting Mom ready for surgery -- and that was difficult enough for us to get through, let alone to have you read through, so I want to spare you of that. For this story, I thought it would be much more fun to focus on interesting interactions and special events.

On our first day, after we finished at the first doctors appointment, we exited the building together. Mom considered the stairs vs. the ramp and smiled at me. "Let's try the stairs," she said with enthusiasm. So we went down the stairs one at a time, because there were more stairs here than we were used to (such as by the front door at home). Mom's leg was a little shaky but I kept a close eye on her. Two women stopped to watch us. "That is beautiful," one remarked. The other woman, who was using a rolling walker, agreed. "She is amazing," Mom told them, as she smiled at me.

We went to the hospital across the street and were riding up in the elevator. You are probably familiar with this version -- the elevators are slow and become progressively packed with each floor. Well, Mom tried to place me off to the side, to protect me from others, as well as to be respectful of those who might not like dogs. In this elevator full of people, Mom exchanged an apologetic smile with those nearest to us. A pretty, young physician's assistant looked at me and said, "You see her and you can't help but smile," and everyone in the elevator smiled in agreement. Glad I could help break up the tension in a tightly packed elevator.
