JUDY GETS A 100% ON REMEMBERING THE KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD ON PAPER...... ALTHO SHE SAID IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT. IT IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS WE JUST DON'T THINK ABOUT..
WE HAVE ALOT OF THOSE AROUND HERE.. WE GET SO USED TO DOING SOMETHING ONE WAY WE DON'T QUESTION..
AND THAT IS DEADLY !!! ALSO OCAISONALLY STUPID...AND IF IT IS A PROCEEDURE INITIATED BY TEH ADVERTISING INDUSTRY IT IS MADDENING - THEY COUNT ON THE PUBLIC STUPIDITY SO WHEN I FALL FOR IT... I AM FURIOUS.
BEWARE OF REPETITIVE ACTIONS.. "I'VE ALWAYS DONE IT THAT WAY" IS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD.. THIS WAY CREATED NO PROBEMS-- VS -- I HAVE STUPIDLY NOT QUESTIONED THIS FOR YEARS WHY START NOW.?
TODAY'S VENTING IS AT THE VISCOSITY OF THE VARIOUS SOAPS WE BUY AND USE.
IF THT IS THE MOST BRILLIANT THING I CAN COME UP WITH, IT IS GOING TO BE A TOUGH DAY...
THIS MORNING I BEGAN TO RUN OUT OF LAUNDRY SOAP- DOESN'T SOUND LIKE AN EARTH SHATTERING PROBLEM... BUT.... THAT LIQUID SOAP... EITHER LAUNDRY/ DISH/ SHAMPOOO ETC IS SOLD SO THICK THAT I THINK IT IS D4ESIGNED TO MAKE YOU USE FAR MORE THAN NECESSARY-- THIS IS WHY I SAVE THE POOLAND SPRINGS SQUIRT TOP BOTTLES- SO I CAN DILUTE THE DAWN DISH SOAP--(DOG SHAMPOO AND SEVERAL OTHER THINGS) A TERRIFFIC SPLIT SECOND SAVER-- TIP SQUIRT AND YOU ARE DONE-- WIHTOUT THE TIP AND HOLD FOR THE SLOW MOVING GOOP TO CLUMP OUT WITH FAR MORE THAN YOU NEEDED...
NOW MY LAUNDRY PROBLEM.... THE POLAND SPRINGS BOTTLES ARE FAR TOO SMALL , SO WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR YEARS NOW, IS SAVE A NEWLY EMPTYIED GALLON ONE ONE... FILL IT 1/4 WITH A NEWLY PURCHASED FLUID AND ADDED ANOTEHR 1/4 QUANTITY OF WTER ( SO IT ISN'T TOO HEAVY TO BREAK MY FLIMSY SHELF)... WHEN I NEED IT I COUNT TO 5 ( 6 FOR BLUE JEAN LOAD) AND I FEEL VERY PLEASED WITH MMYSELF. EMPTY THAT ,AND REPEAT THE ADD ANOTHER 1/4 FROM THE NON DILUTED JUG -- NOW WE ARE DOWN TO 1/2 IN TEH NON DILUTED.. ONE MORE CYCLE AND WE ARE DOWN TO 1/4 IN EACH JUG- IT IS THE NEXT CYCLE WHERE I REEALIZED THE UTTER STUPIDITY OF NOT QUESTIONING REPEDITIVE CHORES.... AS I STARTED TO EMPTY THE LAST 1/4 JUG INTO THE DUPLICATE EMPTY JUG- FORTUNATELY THIS TIME I STOPPED AND JUST ADDED WATER TO THE NON DILUTED JUG... I WAS SOOOOO PLEASED WITH MYSELF....
BUT NOT ONLY SPLIT SECONDS ARE SAVED,,, BUT GALONS OF WATER....THE VISCOSITY OF THESE FLUIDS - WHICH ARE INTENDED TO BE USED WITH WATER- IS WHAT I QUESTION... TAKE DOG SHAMPOO-- WHICH I THINK IS WHERE THIS STARTED-- YOU WET THE DOG THEN POUR ON GOOP WHCH STAYS IN A LUMP ON THE DOGS' B ACK TIL YOU SMEAR IT-- AND THEN YOU CAN NOT RINSE IT ENOUGH TO GET RID OF IT. RUNNING AN ESTRA 5 MINUTES OF WARM WATER AND THE DOG'S BACK WILL STILL PRODUCE MINOR BUBBLES...
EVEN DILUTED DAWN IN THE PUPPY BABY NURSING BOTTLES -- I RINSE FOR NOTHER 24 MINUTES IN AN EFFORT TO GET RID OF THE SOAP... WE DILUTE THE DAWN AT ABOUT 10 TO 1 RATIO...
TO FURTHER STUDY THE REPETITIVE ACTION..... THISE POLAND SPRINGS WTER BOTTLES HAVE ONE OF THE BEST DESIGNED FLIP TOP SEALING LIDS KNOWN TO MANKIND.-- THEY WORK-- IN THEIR DRINKING WATER PHASE... FLIP --DRINK..-- SEAL..-- CARRY UPSIDE DOWN- THEY DO NOT LEAK. CRITICAL IN THE WATER PHASE... BUT THE ACTION OF FLIP USE .SEAL GETS SO INGRAINED IN THE USER'S HEAD, THAT IN THEIR AFTERLIFE AS A CONTAINER FOR DILUTED DAWN DISHWASHING, SEALING THE FLIP TOP IS A TERIIBLE WASTE OF THAT SPLIT SECOND WE FIND SO NECESSARY TO GET AHEAD OF ANOTHER CAR ON THE HIGHWAY.. I FIND I HAD TO CUT OFF THE BLUE FLIP TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM SEALING IT BETWEEN USE SITTING THERE ON THE COUNTER...
HOW BAD IS IT? SOMEONE -- WHO HAS BEEN TRAINED IN TH E FLIP USE SEAL METHOD--- KEEPS COMING ALONG AND REPLACING THE BOTTLES WITH THE TOP REMOVED AS BROKEN IN NEED OF REPLACING...
I TRY... IT IS A STRUGGLE....
