NOV 10,2014

I WAS NOT AS SICK AS WAS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED---
IT WAS COMPLICATED-- BUT THERE IS A LESSON.....

I DECIDED I WAS EATING TOO MUCH SUGAR-  YOU KNOW-- THE WHITE POWDERY STUFF THAT GOES IN COFFEE ETC...( CAN'T DO TOO MUCH ABOUT THE HIGH FRUCTOSE VAARIETY-- IT IS IN EVERYTHING--  FROM KETCHUP TO PRINTERS INK)--SO I'LL GO WITH  TEA--WITH HONEY- AND WHILE I AM AT IT I'LL GET SUPER HONEY  WITH THE STUFF FROM NEW ZEALAND  THAT HAS SOME ANTIBIOTIC PROPERTY--  MAYBE IN THEORY?

I DID HAVE A SMALL COLD- SO I 'D STOP THAT RIGHT AWAY  AS EVERYONE TELLS ME  --IF I WOULD JUST  DRINK TEA  ETC.

SO I DID THAT--- WITH HONEY-- AND I GOT A LITTLE WORSE--- MORE TEA AND HONEY --- MORE OFTEN
THEN  ON SUNDAY  I DECIDED TO HAVE SOME OATMEAL FOR LUNCH...- I USUALLY ADD MAPLE SYRUP-- BUT SINCE I JUST  GOT 3 JARS OF THIS SUPER HEALTHY HONEY... I ADDED A SCOOP  OF THAT-- AND MY "COLD/FLU" TOOK A TURN..

I WAS CONGESTED,  MY SALIVA  WAS LIKE ELMERS GLUE-- AND I WAS HAVING TROUBLE TALKING-- MY TONGUE WAS THICKENING TOO..
I RAN THRU  "OLD PEOPLE SHOULD GET THE FLU SHOT BECAUSE A CASE OF THE FLU COULD  BE VERY SERIOUS"
WELL I HAD THE  FLU SHOT-- PROBABLY MY FIRST EVER--- AND PNEMONIA  SHOT ALSO...

SO I SAT AROUND MOANING ABOUT GETTING OLD WAS SERIOUS WHEN MY   TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT BEGAN TO ACT UP  AND I COULD NOT CHEW THE MOUTHFUL OF PEANUTS I HAD--  WHILE TAKING STOCK OF THE LAST TETNUS SHOT--- (I HAVE HAD MANY OF THOSE--- VERY REGULARLY..)-- ---I HAD TRISMUS ONCE AND SPENT A WEEK SHOVING TONGUE DEPRESSORS BETWEEN MY TEETH TO HOLD MY MOUTH OPEN...  SO I KNEW THAT KIND OF THING--

SUNDAY STEW WAS IN FULL SWING DOWN AT THE T T ENT- AND I HAD NO ONE TO THINK WITH---

IT ALL OF A SUDDEN HIT ME--- I WAS HAVING A REACTION TO SOMETHING-- AND ALL I HAD WAS TEA HONEY AND OATMEAL.
I AM ALERGIC TO PENNACILIN-- MAYBE THAT HONEY  DOES HAVE SOME ANTIBIOTIC PROPERTIES..   WHATEVER... IT HAS TO BE WHAT I WAS REACTING TO.

BENEDRYL ! ---     I HAD A BOTTLE NEXT TO MY BED-- I KNEW THAT.....I RAN....... GONE !!

SO THEN BEGAN THE  "GREAT BENEDRYL HUNT"   OVER/UNDER / AROUND... CALL MEGAN " I SAW IT ---IT IS NEXT TO YOUR BED"
 NO--- NOT THERE--
I  CALLED TRACY  WHO IS OUR FINDER OF LOST THINGS----" TRY THE FEED ROOM IN THE BARN...."
I SAID "^&#$%^&*()-- I CAN NOT GET THERE  - CAN YOU BRING ME SOME  FROM ANYWHERE" ( SHE LIVES 3 MILES UP THE ROAD.)--  SHE FLEW IN HERE  WITH HER BOTTLE---AND 1/2 HOUR LATER I BEGAN TO FEEL BETTER-- AT LEAST IT STOPPED GETTING WORSE..

SOOOOOOOO.  I NEARLY HAD TO PUSH THE BUTTON -- WHICH I WEAR - AND HAVE THE FIRE DEPARTMENT COME HERE  BECAUSE MY  BENEDRYL  GOT TAKEN TO THE BARN BECAUSE SOME PUP HAD A RASH...

AND I HAD THE NERVE TO MAKE FUN OF MEGAN FOR TAPING GASSX TO THE WALL OF HER BATHROOM...

THERE ARE THINGS AROUND HERE WHICH HAVE  EMERGENCY STATUS.. WE NEED TO REVISIT THOSE THINGS AND DISTRIBUTE THEM AROUND THE PLACE-- GASSX AND BENEDRYL  PHONE NUMBERS AND FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.  THERE ARE A FEW ITEMS  -- WE NEED TO RESTOCK AND RE THINK THE FIRST AID KITS  TO BE MORE THAN JUST BAINDAIDS- ( ALTHO THOSE CONSTANTLY NEED RESTOCKING).

EXPERIENCE COMES FROM BAD EXPERIENCES...

DID I POST THESE ALREADY?

Hi Carlene, Onyx will be turning two on Sunday and I thought I would give you an update since it has been awhile. She has adjusted so well to home life with my husband and I and we couldn't love her more. She has such a fun personality and has really become a part of our family. Everyone we meet absolutely adores her and thinks that she is beautiful. We have a lady in the park we go to every morning who can't wait to see her each and every day. She is has one of the funny dane personalities I read so much about before we got her, she really is larger than life. She is smart and so easy to have with us, her recall is great, and she just seems to want to please us 99% of the time. She enjoys morning and evening trips to the park, we can barely use the word park in house anymore because she goes crazy with excitement, loves to ride in the car, and hasn't meet a person or another dog that she didn't like. I've attached some pictures for you. Thank you again for allowing us to have this wonderful dog in our lives.
