 while ignoring the voting./ .

i feel terrible..APPARENTLY ON mail call CAMERA I TOLD PAM A BAG OF RUBBER BALLS WHICH WERE VERY NICELY ORDERED BY KATHERINE.. WERE THE WRONG SIZE FOR A PROJECT I HAD GOING which PAM knew about........ AND THE CAMERA PEOPEL ( AND HOPEFULLY NOT KATHERINE) DIDN'T REALIZE I HAVE MORE THAN ONE size needed and will use them within a week...it all has to do with the size of the cord for those monkey fists i make at midnight when i can't sleep... there are 28mm, 30 mm and 32mm balls.... and string/rope size 50 and 60 and 70.. i have them all...AND I DON'T HAVE KATHERINE'S EMAIL TO EXPLAIN.right now i am on a size 60 string and ... about 1/4 inch rope..... making thOSE BALLS wrong at the moment.... so i will grab the other size and use them next time. probably next week . as linda continues to get orders for all sizes. from our doggie bag "gift store" .. furthermoere...... mark ( camera mark) told me he has a relative with extra balls ( bowling ) which he will donate so i can make more of the super size ones with manilla rope... to highest bidder !!! i know the last one i made used 30 feet of rope and weighed 4 pounds. COULD YOU PLEASE FORWARD This TO katherine . OR POST IT...

continuing on with the monkey fists.. i saw linda taking a new photo yesterday which is not on the web yet... that huge white one in that photo is around a "regular" bowling ball and i hate to think how much of that nice cotton rope i used to make it each loop is about 5 feet 9 loops per direction and 3 directions makes it well over 100 feet at 75 cents a foot . i now use that one on my personal swing set.... teh smaller manilla /candlepin 4 pound bowling balls make nice door stops i am told.
the little 1 inch ones make good gifts as zipper pulls or back pack decorations they are around a marble "so when you think you have lost your marbles, you have one left"
from marbles to rubber balls to golf balls to racket balls, to baseballs, to softballs to bowling balls ( candle , duck, and regular) ... all with different size rope.... donna dyes the cotton ones purple, red, or blue...it is quite a production line. making the4m beATs wATching the news at 2am...
with the possible exception of tonight. 11/3/2020 ------- well it would be 11/4/2020 for teh 2am ------i actually was awake last night for dixville knotch midnight vote wiht 5 for biden and then millville with 16 trump and 5 biden...

i do have one other rope story......more generic.. every 2 inch fist i make means i have about one foot piece left over. rather than throw them out, i save a lump and offer them to anyone learnign to splice. lindsay ( with mega pup myrtle) took the first batch... haley took the second-- and last night haley produced a perfect stub end splice... .. what is interesting is that she even tried it !! she definitely has the explore concept of "never stop learning' .. this is a good thing.. heaven knows everyone has plenty of time on their hands now.. to learn to splice or juggle.. neither one taking any huge investment....
why bother to learn to splice 3 strand rope when you can buy poly rope ands burn the ends???
precisely the point. these new "improvements" have deprived us the opportunity to think and learn..

A RE-THINKING STORY... i remember ... in scotland.. when calling emergency there, it was 999.. and there was a big flap over 111 on a rotary phone would take less time.. so they invented push button comprimise of 911...
and if you think that is why they invented push button i have a bridge in brooklyn to sell you... but the 111 PART was true.
----
the growing pups wnet thru a bunch of usual dilemmas.. i took them each on a car ride withsizzle. 2 at a time.. 7.... three mile trips around the pond... and i didn't hit anything...( staff aROUD HERE SAYS IF I HIT 3 THINGS IN ONE DAY THEY WILL MAKE ME GIVE UP DRIVING...) EVEN THAT HAS IT'S LEGAL COMPLICATIONS......ONE DAY LONG AGO , I RAN INTO THE REGULAR HORSE TRAILER WITH THE HUGE 6 HORSE TRAILER.. NOW WAS THAT 2 ACCIDENTS OR ONE???
I HAVE VERY MANY , NOW VERY FUNNY , STORIES ABOUT ME AND THAT TRACTOR TRAILER SIZE HORSE TRAILER IN BOSTON.. DOING ANIMAL JOBS.. I WOULD OPE NT DOOR AND BYSTAND ERS WOULD EXPECT HUGE HORSES.... I USED IT TO CARRY 100 WHITE RABBITS FOR A JOB WITH PAT PAULSON- - AND A VERY FUNNY JOB WITH 12 BIG WHITE GEESE FOR WATT ENGINEERING... WHERE THEY WANTEED TEH GEESE TO OPEN THEIR MOUTHS... AND I KNEW IF GEESE GOT WARM THEY PANTED LIKE A DOG.. SO WE TURNED ON THE SPOTLIGHTS AND WE AND THE GEESE GOT WARM... BOSTON POLOICE KNEW ME WELL AND WOULD TURN TRAFFIC LIGHTS TO GET ME OUT OF THE WAY... ONCE I GAVE A NEW MEANING TO THE WORD GRIDLOCK.... ALOT OF STORIES....

I WENT A YEAR WITHOUT DRIVING, WHEN IT WAS DISCOVERED I OFFICIALLY HAD EPILEPSY.. AS I BEGAN TO TAKE DILANTIN AND WAS SEIZURE FREE, I COUOD DRIVE AGAIN.. IN THE MEANTIME.. I WAS RUNNING A DELIVERY BUSINESS.. AND BECAUSE THEY DID NOT OFFICIALLY TAKE MY LISENCE AWAY, I COULD BE THE SENIOR DRIVER FOR ALL THE 16 YEAR OLD KIDS LEARNING TO DRIVE AND NEEDING HOURS BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH A SENIOR DRIVER WITH THEM. IT WORKED VERY WELL. DAILY AT 3PM, I WAS ON TEH ROAD AGAIN !!

Hello Carlene,

If anyone were to doubt Riz’s reliability, they wouldn’t after watching her last night. I was visiting my son at his new house last night and because it was dark, Riz was off leash relieving herself about 20 feet from me. We didn’t know the neighbors’ dog was outside off leash also until it came rushing toward us in fight mode. Riz started to run toward the dog, but I said “Ahh Ahh Ahh” and she immediately turned around, ran back to me and calmly stood by my side while we watched the neighbor  wrestle his dog to the ground.  I was so proud of Riz!   heidi

Carlene,  I volunteer at the farm each week so give verbal updates about Burton.  Anyway on the occasion of his 8th birthday, he wanted me to send you an update in writing

I am writing to SDP today because I turn 8 on 11/2.  I’m Burton, one of the Muppies (Moxie and Bumpy litter from 11/2/2012).  You probably know some of my famous siblings - Alphy, Boris, Dash, Wendy and Tye who became service dogs.  The others (Onyx and Peter) were fabulous failures and became perfect pets, just like me.  I was adopted at 10 months old and went to live on 12 acres in NH.  After a few mishaps (underground wasps and a porcupine), I became master of my domain.  I love to run, but leave the deer and turkeys alone.  My Human Dad takes me most mornings on a coffee run.  Sometimes to Panera.  Also go to day care where they put me with the shy dogs (picture enclosed).   They like that I get them running and playing.  Maybe I should ask to go for free. Even though I’m now 8 years old I still get in lots of zoomies but also love to sprawl out on the couch or on my bed near the wood stove. I’m a happy guy, but what would really make me happy is to hear from some of my siblings who haven’t checked in for while.
