the  on going saga of the soup----   - the 32 pounds of soup.... having been to rhodeisland -- still weighing 60.5 pounds has been to lynnfield ( closer)  and out for delivery saturday-- then sunday-- now tehy say monday--BY THE END OF TEH DAY-  i have heard that story before..  in despiration i went and bought a cuppa soup-- but it was not as good as i remnember that blount soup to be.
maybe we are into  strong desire for what we can not have.  blount seems to have 3 week delivery on any orders now-- it looks like they took december off -looks like i am soupless til jan 2020.  i will survive

every year the  town of i[pswich comes by with a small loaf of bannana bred around christmas tiem-- "ipswich cares" -- for the elderly--- me...last year the very nice lady  handed it to me while i was  on the tractor delivering manure to the pile... i thought that might have eliminated me from the program. however they are back again..l and it is good bannana bread... sitting here at my elbow...
made me think....

on tv  ??nbc?? this morning told  of a secret santa who hands out $100 bills to unsuspecting  people  at this time of year....who look like they could use $100-- and he got the town's ( detroit?) bus drivers to join in passing out the bills- amazingly  the bus drivers said they had  discovered teh unexpected  joy in giving..  certainoy that is true-- but come on americans---   there are an awful lot of you who would have a better christmas by handing out some $$ that you probably don't need anyway--instead of spending it on amazon to buy "objects"  - i get catalogs with teh heading "ideas of what to buy for the person who has everything"  what  kind of nitwit do these  catalogs think i am????  why would i want to   ..... etc.....

ingrid--working for disney--- saw  a bunch of coats  that were no longer needed-- and packaged tehm up ( perfectly) -- like 300 of them--- many of our volunteers took one-- and then.. as they saw a need here and there-- they dished them out as they saw a need...   ingrid/disney  gave us all teh  ability to give-- everyone - both givers and takers--- had a wonderful time--it will be a long time before i forget the guy who took a coat because  as he stood ther ehelping me unload in teh 20 degree temp.... he said " this sweatshirt is all i have------ so for ingrid-- we are down to 3 dozen in the training room ,3 boxes here in the house  plus teh few over my head as samples.  we will 'distribute ' those in the next 2 weeks and be ready for any more overflow of large quantities of  corporate excess. --

there are 2 other corporations who have  a similar  of program of listing something they have bought and don''t need- and will also pay to have it shipped to any charity-- which explains some of the strange things  you will see around here-- namely a full pallet 4'x4'x4'  of chlorox wipes that we have it the cellar...   they aren't soemthign we can cause much joy in distributing.....but we certainly  are using  them..

yesterday-- someone got on my "case" about  why are you puttin g in a 5' garage door along side a people door    instead of just building a wall with a normal door?    i was upset at having that decision questioned--   because under interrigattion--  i could not think why.
now writing this DD --- i remember one of the reasons-- so we can move large objects in that area with the tractor--- like pallets of chlorox wipes.  the person  questioning me had never had to deal with a 4x4x4 cube of  chlrox wipes- so i sounded  defient when all i could say was " just because "

and then the sleeping pill bit--- we had alot of comments... from 1 to 5 mg...

I take 1mg when I can’t sleep and I konk out for the whole night. I do feel a bit woozy when I wake up but that goes away once I’ve had my coffee.
I can’t imagine taking a higher dose and being able to function in the morning.
I would suggest you try 1 mg and see that helps.

REGARDING MEDICATION WEIRDNESS: I DEVELOPED WHAT SEEMED LIKE DEMENTIA IN LESS THAN A WEEK'S TIME. I KNEW I HADN'T HAD A STROKE, BUT I SUDDENLY HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY PUTTING TOGETHER A SENTENCE THAT MADE SENSE. I LIVE ON A CUL-DE-SAC, AND I WAS AFRAID TO LEAVE MY HOUSE TO WALK AROUND THE CUL-DE-SAC (6 HOUSES) FOR FEAR I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE WHICH HOUSE WAS MINE! TURNS OUT IT WAS MEDICATION I HAD BEEN TAKING FOR YEARS - BENADRYL (WHICH I TOOK FOR 30 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEM) AND AN ANTIDEPRESSANT I HAD TAKEN FOR 10 YEARS WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS. THE DIFFERENCE? MY AGE. (70 AT THE TIME.) BOTH DRUGS ARE IN A CLASS CALLED "ANTICHOLINERGICS" WHICH CREATE DEMENTIA-LIKE SYMPTOMS IN THE ELDERLY. I STOPPED TAKING THEM, AND MY BRAIN STARTED WORKING AGAIN WITHIN 3 DAYS. NO PROBLEMS SINCE.

as part of my scientific report , one must establish the degree of wooziness before and after medication.... i do--- with my suduko book- try and keep track just how woozy  i am normally as opposed to when i have taken any drugs-- if my normal  rate is 2/5--- meaning  i do have a n inherinant state of wooz, but  i have not backed into anything with my car ---,  if it gets to a rate of 4/5 and i  notice "welcome to maine "  on the route 95  signs....or i begin to hit mul;tiple things -- i probably should not drive- at least on the road...
i am sure-- people who say it does not affect them--- are wrong.  there are degrees...
