an indoor arena 60 x 80 is a wonderful thing to have... except..... when it is in fact a huge kitty litter type place for dogs.....-- most indoors are for horses who do not produce the constant fluid that a bunch of danes will produce... so we need to deal with that probably today---i have tried in teh past... most notably the stuff they use in nursing homes odorban..... which made teh arena smell like urine and coconuts--
so this uyear i wll try the stuff used in stalls-- powdered lime-- which has it's drawbacks because it is powdered and can get airborn intill rained on...
bingo... it does not rain in there... so we will have to hose it-- this will tie up the arena for days-- but i don't know of any other solution.... plan is to drag it with the golf cart and spike tooth drag-- tehn spread with walk behind spreader-- and drag and hose...
tehn give it the sniff test?????

megan has sir richard with her for the weekend--- but she will be in and out of here as walter is trying to get inspired... this female lanie... has, in the past been a bit strange in her cycle.... but has had pups...... it is already day 9 and she is still not thinking kindly of walter... hopefully in the next few days........ our pup production schedule is waaaaay off.

the death of anthony bourdin has been a real shock to everyone-- his cycle of alcohol, heroin, cocaine, methadone, and alcohol has a familiar ring to it, as i personally know of far too many with that history.

i have too many distracting problems to deal with today. maybe spreading lime will be a good distraction.
