also=--- when entering or exiting a car with your dog... open drivers door AND teh back door-- load dog in th back.. close that door.... if at this point you faint... the front door will still be open so if they carry you away in an ambulance you r dog would let thmne know to take him too... YOU NEVER WANT THE DOG BEHIND CLOSED DOORS IN A PARKIN G LOT...--IT ALMOST HAPPENED TO ONE OF OUR DOGS... LONG AGO-- SHE PUT THE DOG IN THE CAR AND THEN FELL--- LUCKILY SHE WAS COHERENT ENOUGH TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE DOG. SO WE HAVE AN OPEN DOOR POLICY -- AND I SEE NO REASON NOT TO DO IT HERE IN LOADING AND UNLOADING

BONDING...... MY LATEST KICK.... WE ARE VERY NICE TO OUR DOGS-- OF COURSE, BUT WE WANT THE DOGS TO DECIDE THAT THEIR NEW OWNERS ARE THEIR REAL PARTNERS.... I KNOW ALL THE DOGS LOVE MEGAN AND WHEN TEHY COME BACK THEY ARE HAPPY TO SEE HER--- BUT THEY ALL TURN AROUND AND GO BACK TO THEIR PARTNER-- THIS IS SUCH A CRITICAL THING... IN MY OPINION.... AND IT IS WHY I COULD NOT GO IN FOR PUPPY RAISING WHERE ONE PUP "HAS A FAMILY" FOR A LONG ?18 MONTHS? TIME----THEN IS TAKEN AWAY FOR TRAINING AND THEN WORKING--- I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SOLUTION IS... EXCEPT TO KEEP THE PUPS HERE ROTATING Amid interns and trainers... there is some kind of lesson in watching chaos-- who basically sleeps unless earlene or linda is here... she gets special attention from them and doesn't really care too much about the rest of us.

i have given teh interns teh dane color charts to study--- the way they note colors black and blackh- made me think maybe i could illistrate my shoe problem like that...
i was wearing one Right and one Left- both WT ( really worn tread) aka RWT and LWT-- which -- because of puppies became RWT and L/slipper for 4 hrs---- until --- there appeared... GOLDIE style just one shoe---- LNT (new tread) to replace the Lslipper--the day was spent slightly on the bias with RWT and LNT as the difference between the NT and WT was 3/4 inch.- but my feet had coverings...maybe 3/4 an inch is significant to a person selling lifts for shoes, but hardly noticable in my world...i was pretty well set...until after mail call when the missing LWT appeared under a sofa- i was all excited -- except teh LWT never made it to the bedroom nor has teh missing RNT been located... some might say they were unfortunate to have to wear mismatching shoes, but with puppies in the house i think i am lucky to have 2-- one R and one L-- matters coudl be worse.
you laugh?---- well maybe you didn't... but i can tell you where 1/2 inch on the shoes nearl,y got me killed... i have for years bought 3 pairs of shoes at a time--- ustabe --- new ballance sneakers -- all look vaguely the same... except......... one day... the transition from an old pair to a new pair, i did not notice the difference in the "footprint"-- for some reason this pair was designed to stick out behind my heel another 1/2 inch-- that didn't make any difference until i started down the cellar stairs per usual, but caught that 1/2 inch on the step - i grabbed for teh handrail and did not go far --- luckily falling into the laundry chute which takes up alot of the space there---i threw those away that day-- they were dangerous.

SOFA's--- megan has me trained to pick up sofa's that i see along the road-- this can get out of hand-- for a while there we weere throwing out one sofa a week in the trash ( we are allowed one piece of furnature a week...)-- yesterdeay i came to a very nice love seat and sofa in an expensive high rent neighborhood.. -- i knew jessica was moving into t a new house-- steve and i had already found her a dining room table and chairs---- i came roaring home to go get it... and no truck ( janine has swapped her nice car for the blue truck) and she had teh horse trailer....- all i had was teh dump trailer which was 1/4 full to go to the dump--
but that was a nice sofa--- someone said "lets unload teh trailerl and get it" -- i could do that at the push of a button so i pulled to the middle of the area and dumoped the load.. we wnet back and tom and haley tehn loaded teh sofas-- so it is now covered- still on the trailer waiting for jjessica to come tell us where to put it... in the meantime there is a strange pile of trash in front of teh ice house which looks pretty strange... but is very logical;.
