we still have "the 2 girls " here they are really trouble free so far... no arguement .. even with chaos....

i did "training" yesterday... i decided i needed more exercise -- so i took bentlye and sizle to home depot -- mostly because they all know me there and i wanted to try and hook the 2 dogs together... so they would stride togetehr...-- i used to do this with all the dogs as they came along in training... usually i had 2 horse halters - dog's head thru the nose part and the dog girth was the strap uaually over the head of the horse.. to start with i run a rope thru the halter rings mid rib cage in a u shaped so if they pull, they pull themselves together.. what you don't want is to use snaps at this stage because one might decide to turn around and once tangled you can't work the snaps... .. as they get used to it... usually takes only a few minutes you can use a quick release tie between the part agound their necks-- like tieing theri collars together.. then go to a quick release at their girth and you might have a working pair of dogs... once they get the hang of it, it is possible to get them to circle you by calling the name of the "inside dog"
when you really get good, you can walk to make the other dog the inside dog and have the pair make figure 8's by going back and forth. all i managed yesterday with bentley and sizzle was an eye catching whoa ! where they both stopped and stood.. figure 8's need to be done outside-- and seeing as it is not in the 70's. that probably is not going to happen til spring.. bentley is a little lazy too--- sizzle might need a more energtic partner...

between black friday, cyber monday and giving tuesday.. how about chicken shatty wednesday... there are alot of offers 'out there' for schemes to raise money... but i think our chicken bricks are the best and most efficient for money landing in the care and training of the dogs....with out having to provide anyone with our email list. i am sure our email list of people interested in dogs would draw a hefty price from some companies.. i try and guard it. i think we have the best method going---

A COUPLE OF GIRLS AND THEIR DOG. MATCHING SHIRTS AND ALL READY FOR BED.
WE FINALLY HAVE TO OFFICIAL SURGERY DATES. BELLA WILL HEAD INTO BOSTON CHILDRENS HOSPITAL FOR THE START OF TRACTION ON DECEMBER 18TH. THAT MONDAY SHE WILL GO INTO THE OR TO HAVE A HALO PUT ON FOR TRACTION. SHE WILL REMAIN IN THE HOSPITAL UP UNTIL HER BACK FUSION/ROD PLACEMENT WHICH WILL BE JANUARY 8TH. ALL OF THIS IS BEST CASE SCENARIO. IF TRACTION TAKES 3 WEEKS THEN SURGERY WILL BE THE 8TH. SO FOR NOW SHE IS IN THE BOOKS. SHE WILL STAY IN THE HOSPITAL AT LEAST A WEEK POST SURGERY. THEN IT IS ESTIMATED 4 WEEKS VERY CALM AND RECOVERING AT HOME BEFORE SHE CAN HEAD BACK TO SCHOOL. SO 3 WEEKS FROM TODAY THE CRAZINESS WILL BEGIN. TIME TO START TO GET ORGANIZED! HAVE TO TALK TO THE SCHOOL TOMORROW AND GIVE THEM DATES AND SEE IF THEY CAN PUT A RUSH ON THE TUTOR SO SHE WON’T MISS A BUNCH OF WORK. THEN HAVE TO CALL GENETICS AND MAKE SURE HER INFUSION IS ALL SET TO BE DONE AT THE HOSPITAL. THOSE ARE MY GOALS FOR TOMORROW....THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT. YOU HAVE ALL BEEN SUCH AN AMAZING HELP AND ENCOURAGEMENT THOUGH ALL OUR TOUGH TIMES AND WE TRULY APPRECIATE IT AS A FAMILY! SO THANK YOU!!

shocking news-- this dropbox thing is loaded with recipients emails-- all the people i am really angry with for not sending me an email about how their dog is doing hae somehow been hiding stuff inthe drop box. the list is long...but true to computer mentality, it will not let me open the emails-- so i am not much furtherealong than before... my case still stands... i certainly don't have a clue about how this works, and i do not have the time or mentality to learn so...... i can not immagine it is terribly difficult to send me an email when you are lockboxing -- i am not sure i can stand one more name/ password /secret sentence routine.
