HOWARD( WITH TANNER) IS DOING SUCH A GOOD JOB WITH THE ROOF ON THE SHED, I DON'T THINK I CAN GO NEAR IT !! HE/THEY HAVE ALMOST 1/3 RAFTERS UP-- AND THEY ALL MATCH !!! HE CHEATS, HE MEASURES...
I AM VERY HAPPY TO REPORT TO THE TIMBERLAND CREW---THAT THE STRING THEY PUT UP WAS LEVEL AND DARN NEAR CENTERED BETWEEN THE 2 WALLS WHICH WERE ALMOST STRAIGHT.....
IT IS A SHED FOR DONKEYS-- AND IF THeY HAVE TO AVOID A DRIP OR TWO... SO BE IT. ONE END OF THE SHED IS STILL THE OLD ARENA WHICH WE ARE "REPLACING", THE OTHER END HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNED YET... IT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE WHITE ARENA.
I WONDER........ GIVEN A SHARP KNIFE AND A FEW PIECES OF STRAPPING, AND THEY WOULD BE CONNECTED... THAT DID NOT OCCUR TO ME TIL JUST NOW.... BUT IT IS A GOOD THOUGHT????
WITH SPINNING HEAD.......THERE IS A LOT ON MY WISH LIST THIS WEEK...FENCING BEING ONE ITEM.. ALONG WITH DEAD LIMBS IN TREES, NOT TO MENTION THE REST OF THE DRIVEWAY-- IT WILL EITHER GET DONE OR IT WON'T BEFORE DOG FEST.. THE CONCEPTUAL IDEA SPINNING IS.... WE DO SUCH A GREAT JOB TRAINING OUR DOGS TO BE SERVICE DOGS, I WONDER HOW SUCCESSFUL WE SOUL D BE AT TRYING OUR WAY ON OUR DANES FOR SEEING EYE... I HAVE ONLY TO WATCH GEORGE BRING BELLA DOWN THE FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO WONDER IF WE COULD DO IT... BELLA IS TALKING TO HER SISTER AND NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO GEORGE OR HER OWN FEET....-- GEORGE IS WATCHING THE SPLIT SECOND MOVEMENT OF HER FEET -- SHE HESITATES, HE HESITATES--- SHE STEPS , HE STEPS.--- YOU DON'T TRAIN THAT...GEORGE FIGURED IT OUT...
SEVERAL ADI TRAINERS HAVE MADE A COMMENT OR TWO THAT MAKE ME WONDER...
HOW DO THEY GeT THEM TO PAY SUCH ATTENTION AS SOON AS THE VEST IS ON?
HOW DO THEY MANAGE TO GET A FULLY TRAINED DOG AT A YEAR OLD.? ( GEORGE STARTED WITH BELLA AT 9 MONTHS..)
THEN THE BIG ONE... HOW DO THEY MANAGE TO DONATE THE DOGS FREE OF CHARGE?
THE ANSWER TO THAT LAST ONE IS THE EXPLORE.ORG's CAMERA COMMUNITY AND THE SHATUPON SOCIETY's $10 NUMBERS OFF OUR WEB...THE ANSWER TO HOW TO USE OUR "SYSTEM" TO PRODUCE A SEEING EYE DOG IS FAR MORE COMPLICATED... BUT MIGHT BE WORTH A TRY...IF WE COUDL SPARE A THOUGHT OR TWO...
THE PARTH THAT ALERTS ME FOR THIS.. IS THE COMMENT THAT A SEEING EYE DOG IS NOW COSTING $50,000 TO RAISE..
THEY USE A SYSTEM OF TRAINING PUPPY RAISERS TO GET THE PUPS USED TO SOCIETY IN GENERAL-- I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY FAITH IN TRAINING A BIG BUNCH OF PUPPY RAISERS-- THERE ARE TOO MANY PITFALLS. PLUS I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THE DOG FEELS ABOUT LEAVING THEIR PUPPY RAISER- TO GO THRU TRAINING ONLY TO GET TO WORK WITH A NOTHER PERSON AS A PARTNER... TOO MUCH BONDING BEFORE IT REALLY COUNTS.. IS MY PERSON AL OPINION...
WE HAVE A SYSTEM OF LEARNING TO PAY ATTENTION... THEN . "ACHIEVING BOREDOM" - THEN BEING USEFUL... AND FINALLY BONDING... I DUNNO... THE "SEEING EYE" HAS BEEN HUGELY SUCCESSFUL FOR MANY YEARS.... WHO AM I TO QUESTION WEIGHS HEAVILY ---- BUT... THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULD NOT THINK ABOUT IT.
GONNA TALK WITH MEGAN AND STEVE....

MEANWHILE ... I HAVE ORDERED A HARNESS FOR MO.... I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE WILL FEEL ABOUT THIS... I AM ASSUMING SHE HAS SPEND HOURS PULLING A PLOW AND HOPEFULLY STEARS-- SHE HAS SCARS TO SHOW HARD WORK...PLUS AT THE SIDE OF HER MOUTH WHERE SOMEONE PULLED HER HEAD AROUND VERY HARD... ALL THIS IS WELL AND GOOD AND THERE IS A HIGH PERCENT POSSIBILITY SHE WILL "DRIVE" VERY WELL... HOWEVER ... IF THE LAST TIME SHE WAS "HOOKED" SHE PANIC'D ANDD RAN AWAY IT WOULD NOT BE AN EASY SWITCH TO DRIVING... I AM ASSUMING SHE WAS IN THE KILLER PEN PURRELY BECAUSE O F HER AGE...
BUT THERE IS ONE LITTLE THOUGHT... SHE IS VERY SOUND AND I WOULD THINK STILL CAPABLE OF PLOW PULLING... SO THERE MIGHT BE SOMETHING ELSE..
WE WILL FIND OUT IF EVER THE HARNESS GETS HERE ( I ORDERED IT A 8/6)

KRINGLE AND MY FAMILY STARTED THE DAY IN OLD TOWN ALBUQUERQUE AT SAN FELIPE DE NERI PARISH. MY SON WANTED TO ATTEND THE SPANISH MASS AND ALTHOUGH I DONT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL WITH THE MUSIC AND LOVELY CHURCH. WE THEN WENT TO SANDIA PEAK WHERE KRINGLE RODE A TRAM FOR THE FIRST TIME! SHE ALSO HELPED ME COMPLETE A HIKE TO KIWANIS CABIN WHERE THE VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR. THIS HIKE WAS A CHALLENGE BUT KRINGLE HELPED ME WHEN I STUMBLED AND BELIEVED IN ME THAT I COULD FINISH.
