USTABEE--- there was some way that I could shift alt and the number and copy part of a screen and I used to enjoy doing that and I wish I could do that now but I seemed to have lost that ability because they're being Sunday morning it would be nice if I could put clouds count for the week of the places we've been and things we've done and the 88 people we have seen she does such a fantastic job
I'm not sure how or why I got that pastted but go for it.
That last job in Haverhill Janine did I don't think I've been there yet she took just the bunnies on special request and sizzle goes with them because she totally ignores them so that is sort of a package deal two bunnies plus sizzle. We have to work the bunnies into the Twin size pushcart --and get them eating out of the frying pan.. they are very large
I just noticed in the senior bulletin that Ipswich puts out on a monthly basis there is a way of applying for miscellaneous casual assistance I think they called it sort of grandparents for hire. For small handyman type jobs and I'm sure we must have several of those around here that we might be able to get help with I cannot believe we have gotten to the point where most major things are done and we have things like painting and picking which can easily be identified even
For instance how could you notice the floor has not been swept if you have a monster tree through the roof or things like that... But we are ready for floor sweeping well maybe not floor sweeping but those machines that clean the floor by blowing air are wonderful around here.
There is one collection point I have not even gotten into yet.. it was kennels 9 and 10 which were combined an individually heated to accommodate teenage puppies... basically now A room about 10 by 15 maybe and in its history had also been a workshop before I had that funny little yellow building---I am sure it will be tremendously useful as soon as we figure out what that use is...
that used just might be putting my father's desk back together again because I have found the drawers which are all still containing all the items that were there when we started this process somewhere along the line.. The reason I have not been in that room is because there is a six inch threshold... it's the kind of thing that keeps wheelchair people out of places where they really ought to be able to go
--.-I remember one of the first dogs I gave out To a woman who needed to practice using the dog and we went to the Market Basket and paranormal I parked in the parking lot and went toward the door. the dog very carefully helped her step up the curb. at which point she burst into tears because she said she hadn't been able to go shopping because of barriers like this 6 inch curb that the dog could now help her with. the whole world from a wheelchair is entirely different then the world on foot.. simple things like the coffee cups here where I now live Janine very carefully took them off the counter and put them up in the closet and luckily I can lock my wheelchair and stand up and get the coffee cups but if I couldn't I wouldn't have any coffee.
Way back at the start of all this I remember stopping to help a wheelchair person push their way up the short ramp over the curb at Boston gardens.
He said he'd been stuck sitting there through two light changes and nobody helped push him. It's a whole new world... as is deaf is also a whole new world
All the way through a lot of problems including the guy at the rehab center with whom I often had dinner and had to watch him chase the peas around his plate because he had a a stroke and had the use of only one arm
