thank you-- i need all the help i can get...-- they will be delivering some friday- and then the truck with 100 bales on tuesday
along those lines... grace says teh baby is eating pellets--this might be a fact to remember... he wanted no part of th r foalac to begin wwith-- and then grace "blended" some with water and squirted 60 cc's into him.. once he got the taste. withini hours he was picking at the pellets with his faux mother.
according to some report or another he was known to be an orphan?? in a line up of 80 donkeys in texas.
makes me wonder who had 80 donkeys to get rid of...-- some of them obviously someone's pet-- like the mamouth-- and the mini "mom" and all have had their feet trimmed--- so they were not just strays...
i know there is a donkey rescue in texas--- makes me wonder.....
donkeys are such great animals-- with a reputation for being stubborn-- when in fact, they are just being careful of where they walk..-- at one point in my life i had about as many mini donkeys as we now have dogs... most of you know i used to drive 8 like the budweisers clydesdale horses...-- and had antlers for them... so i would drive them into the ballrooms of several big boston hotels with santa claus in the seat.. we had no trouble except when the pattern in the carpet changed from a blurr to generic pattern of lines...... the leaders wouold stop and look at it before going on...
and tey were very careful about things like the shaddow of electric wires on pavement... that made parades exciting-
the only sure way across them was a garbage can lid with grain-- fed to the front pair as they stepped over the lines... or the railroad tracks... between jesus jobs and santa jobs, they kept animal episodes afloat ( and my kids in college)

megan is ill--- and will be for at least a week--i hope she is well enough to puppy sit as she recovers...

kids are going back to school--- devlin will continue with sundays and laura, i think mondays...

if i had to produce a big project for a group of people , it wouodl be to make the "A" field useable--it is a few acres it has a stream thru it which comes out of our pond-- but teh banks do become muddy -- serious mud... black mud...
another thing to wonder....
