i cAN GET A FEEL FOR WHAT IT IS LIKE TO STOP DRIVING....  GWEN TOOK MY CAR TO NH...and i need 3 boards to "finish" the arena wall ... from the lumber company around the corner.....  usually i would just get in my car .. pick up a dunkin donuts ( or sub for lunch) on the way,,,,  wedge the 3 boards in thru the front window and shove the 3 danes sideways for the short trip home... and be done.

here  i sit... sans car. minus the coffee and the boards with no relief in sight.... ?what me  pay $30 delvery fee????? not willinglily

i can remember....... back when "my car" was a 1982 ambulance and i was in burlington mass... with  my #1 stud dog "thumper" ... someone offered me 8 nice office chairs free.  if i could take them then... so ..... poor thumper..... had to get out while i put the 8 chairs stuffed in the back ( and one in. the front)   i opened the side door and told thump to get in... he looked at me  with a "what are you ... nuts?"  i repeated"get in" and he scratched and climbed his way to the top of. the teetering pile and just hung on  til we got home.  he was a very well trained dog.  (and father dog)

my car will not be back til sunday-- at which time i will investigate    the small print at the bottom of the passenger side mirror.. which apparently says "things are closer than they seem"  as i had a close call with the house while backing out.... just before i hit the white post ( oxycondin induced )

you think "  they "   don't really mean don't drive----oh i can do it "   and what you don't realize is the stuff makes you think you can do everything.. until  you find the house  and white pole got moved and   you hit them.

rule around here ... if i hit 3 things in one day i am to turn in my license to drive...

consequently when i hit two. i stop right there and... i walk home

I am sure the rest of the population is into the sincerity of gymnastics being done by the house down there in Washington

 

I was happy to find that both Gwen and I. Had the same reaction to the fact that there was more than one chewing gum on camera.. I am a little bit of a fanatic about gum chewing because I don't like to have it dropped on the ground around here and then step in it----- it's as bad as doggy do or worse.... so both gwen. and I wondered if anybody had checked the underneath side of those desks to see whether that's where anyone stuck their gum like they did when they were in 5th grade---- that's an investigation we both seem to think was in order.....   and then I got on to the number 2 pencil that poor woman started out with It was a new  long #2 pencil and a small piece of paper to record all these votes but by the time they got to #7 or 8 the pencil was the size of a golf pencil about four inches long.

these are the kind of things that Someone has to notice and I take that job very seriously.

 

especially now since my chair is fixed ---thanks to gwens  tenacity ---I was at the store that sold me that chair at 6:55am  yesterday and there was a very nice man who listened to our sad tale of woe of a reclined chair it wouldn't stop reclining..... he said he would send two repair men that afternoon.. so about 1:00 o'clock jeanine came in with her dog Wanda and two men who look just like the ones repairing the arena.. jiminy and lackey join the cluster at the top of the stairs as I joined to try and get them to put go on their beds.--- that was  about 800 pounds of people , 472 pounds of dog all in. a 4’ x4’ area.......    and started explaining to these two men that I knew we were out of five more 1 by 8 for the top of that railing in the arena before I gave them a chance to explain no they were here to fix the chair. they were very nice and replace the remote well it's not a remote it's a thing on a cord and the chair now will produce a seat that it is 90 degrees. Seat to back.. much more comfortable overnight

that along with oxycontin I slept through until 6:30 and usual for me. and at the moment I seem considerably better.

 

I was very upset have all those people in Washington decide to take the night off I was ready to sit up all night watch them now here I have nothing to do all morning because they're not going to  start till noon at which point I probably will be glued to my television let's see what on earth they're going to do next

 

There is a there is a Medical scientifically correct statement “if you repeatedly do the same thing over and over again expecting different results, it is the sign that you probably ought to stop driving .” 

and then there is. ....

the gum chewing girl and the cud chewing cow are very alike... yet different somehow....so what can that be?  oh i have it now, it is the thoughtful expression. on the face of the cow...

lovely sleep....   that stuff does work...  i have had sooooo many comments

most notably the aleve bottle directions..... soo many people told me how constipating..

always nice to know these things.....i try and pass on critical information in this DD

i can not cut the oxy  in half because even wih a pill cutter it is sooooo tiny. i would  loose too much powder...

and gwen  is taking my car tonight for a few days anyway-- back to golf cart--- unheated...i will manage.

the fence is making great progress  behind the arena wheere  cameras do not reach... but work is getting done... looks lovely.... needs wire  to be taken seriously...

i would love to comment on the days entertainment in "THE HOUSE"   most notably the poor woman with her #2 pencil and scrap of paper.... as she makes note of  which person said what...  all 435 representatives... when in actual  fact... she only has to go thru about 50 of them --- and if the bottom number is 5 or more.... the biggies can not get 218.... unless i am missing some  rare detail....  but she chugs on...battling thru who votes for and who against who...- someone quite rightly said.." the whole thing is embarassing"

 in the meantime. just who is third in line for the presidency?  why doen' th the old stay in office til the new????  things like peaceful transfer.. instead of mayhem  of a void.

Just in case you missed last night's fiasco with the Aleve bottle--- in a quick update I was told to take 

aleve which I've never done before so I looked for the directions on how one takes aleve and there is none on the bottle that I could find ---then Jamie pointed out to me the fact that there was a little pick thing in the corner which said peel the label----- whoa OK--- I've done that before in my life so I peeled the label right down to the bottle and pulled back and there was nothing----- having done what they suggested I do ---I figured I'd done it and they just didn't tell me what I was supposed to take for a dosage..... which I didn't really believe------ and everybody looked at the bottle and looked at the peel label and nobody figured out for a long time that it was a double label and you were only supposed to peel back the top label in which case there was direction underneath which were contraindicated to what everybody around the room has been taking which was two pills every 12. hours that is generically what people take turns out the label says take 2 pills first and then one pill every 12 hours after that.. I asked all the people watching Mail call to send us an e-mail if they in fact had ever seeing the directions that were taking it correctly and nobody gave me an e-mail..  With all the rules and regulations that exist in the world somehow the basic directions for any medication should be easily available and in the case of aleve it is not so. Ann (as in 2728). —that is a good one for you to address.. why don’t you follow thru on it.????

 The only other research I have done as of yesterday... I confronted a very knowledgeable scientific person about an article in the Ipswich news about a person who  said. “the  odor of dog feces was unbearable at 100 feet..” .so now all you people who read this..... And have access to  currently produced doggie doo.. I would like to. Publish in the news, just how far away from dog doo  the  odor of the product can be detected... it was pointed out that not all doggie doo smells the same... so if you all would  indicate possible age and food that was ingested,  I could work on getting the correct information the newpaper...

 

I have personally studied this—as I did with the sound of a dog’s noise making device—and I need help—I  need more stats.... and what better source than the 1500 people known to read this every day..   and some of you are quite capable of the “blind study” concept  of scientific proof....  please  do keep your statistics scientifically correct... and write this up and send to me  your findings...

now that was an evening.... an oxycontin pill and a piece of cheescake

I finally had to go to the ER. just looking for a pill to to get me through the night so I get one night sleep.. I used to be 5 foot 10 inches...  my whole being is collapsing into probably about 5 foot 6 right now presenting medical problems ---they're hardly an interest to everybody.. but...finally developed into a hot knife right at my waist.. and I was not getting much sleep.. The problem is positional--and I cannot lie down flat because I can't manipulate myself out of the problem if I'm in bed ----so I have been in chair for at least a week and that's getting to be a problem so I went... and very patiently sat there with me for several hours Lin took me ---I'm 100% comfortable in a chair where my back is at 90 degrees to the bottom part of me--however twisting is out coughing is forget it.... laughing is a mistake ----So I ended up in the ER in quest of one night's sleep pill form.. 5 hours later I was on the way home with Janine,  and Heather was here to help ..so here it is morning ,,, and  I am still a slightly drug induced drunk but had a few hours sleep...

I am to go back this morning.... and I am not to. Drive ( would you believe it??)   mark is going to do the honors. Heather tried to sign me up for Uber--- it went through all the details and got me signed up and an app on my phone which I then click and it says sorry we don't do ipswitch or something like that so Mark's gonna get me there I think finding a taxi from North Shore back to Ipswich might be easier to find but somehow we'll figure it out.

 

Now about the cheesecake... Janine – who had not had a meal in 24 hours.. bought 2 pieces of cheesecake from the cheesecake factory ( a national treasure to be noted also for their chicken farfalle)  2 pieces cost $27.00. and the person behind her bought an entire cake ( 7 pieces)---$100..and there is a recession???  For some maybe... it was a damn good piece of cheesecake with sugared strawberries and whipped cream and beautiful besides it went well with the oxycontin..

the pill enabled me to lie flat for the catscan and then they let me go home... with eight pieces of paper on how to have a backache with a pulled muscle which is not what this is but what the hell I got the pill and we got out,

 

now isn't all that exciting I may do tomorrow's daily  doggy  on the very exciting chore of removing your socks.

p.s.  i just talked to gwen who knew about the cheescake factory... one slice is 1700 calories.. she warned .. both pill and cake are addictive.

i don't need any more bangs to start the year with... thanks but no thanks...

i don't want to be challanged by  blue tooth or alexus  playing  the "ave maria"  on my  toaster oven.. 

bud thankfully fixed my "office" chair. but the recliner still refuses to let me sit in a perpendicular position  to the seat.

i finally  got to placing phone calls from my steering wheel-- only to have a photo of the chicken board super imposed on the screen- and off/on. does not correct.

for lack of NY BETTER IDEAS.....( THERE IUS THAT #$%^&**FAULTY CAPS LOCK AGAIN... SEE WHAT I MEAN??)

shatupon day !  i trust all is in order with  a visiting  group of hens-  it  has to be the most pequliar way of  fundraising, but....... it works. and has kept  sdp alive for ??? 10 years?  my thanks to all concerned...

for the second time in those  10 years we are experiencing a strange thing. our females do not seem to be cycling normally.. we are behind in puppy production.. so i began to look around at my european friends and what they have--- and 3 of my regulars have no pups either...  yet all have planned breedings... as we do...  but  it ain't happin' yet.... whether that is mommy nature with weather changes or the economy with  afraid to  have too many pups to sell, i do not know.  but scanning around   there are a few, but not the usual really solid looking dogs.

....  

i am thrilled to be #4 on the explore.org group of cameras....has to be my run-thru in my jammies at  3am.. 

keeping our interesting things to view and learn about-- we are installing the white fence from meridith -- i think if the donkey hill. camera is swung aroung you could see the fence project-- talk about dedication to a project...last night... "after work hours" janine waqs out there with 2 buckets of soapy water  washing the newly erected fence....  IN THE RAIN... IN THE DARK....  she's NUTS????

dana's  excavator is perfect for this fence job... with it's narrow bucket.. and the ability to swing 360 degrees.. plus dana does not seem to  mind sitting balanced on a hillside....NOT ME !!!

dana said he has a few days this week to continue the fence project... now to get dig safe back... they did not locate all the wires i know are there...

the other project on camerra.... is wallaces ? brother? who helped in the arena can come back to work on the end part.. if i can get the lumber here. 4x6 on the ground. etc.....

and activate karen to play with pockets and the other mini's.  there must be one with "potential" to climb stairs...

( altho that is not as necessary since handicap ramps are mandatory in most places)..   i can remember having to be sure  the donkeys would climb the "risers" to the various altars at christmas-- it would never do to have to push one from the rear in those church jobs...
