THE FACT THAT ALL THESE ADULT DAY CARE CENTERS HAVE A BIG BEAUTIFUL TV/MONITOR THING VERY PROMINAQNTLY PLACED INTHE "COMMON ROOM" AREAS MAY BE VERY IMPRESSIVE TO THE FOLK DROPPIN G OFF THIEIR RELATIVES FOR DAY CARE--- SO FAR ONLY ONE DAY CARE IN 50 HAS TEH CAPABILITY TO TURN THE # $%^&*() THING ON. SO WE ARE NOT KEEPING TRACK OF THE MAKE AND MODEL--- TO SEE IF WE CAN'T FIND SOME SOLUTION TO GETTING SOMEONE TO SPONSOR TEH ENLIVENING OF THESE MONITORS.
I WILL HAVE TO TALK TO EXPLORE TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY REASON THEY WOULD NOT LIKE TO HAVE THIER CAMERAS USED TO ENTERTAIN "THE WAITING ROOM CROWDS" , ALONG WITH THE DAY CARE BUNCH... I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD LOVE IT.... BUT THEN I AM NOT CHARLIE... SO I NEED TO CONTACT HIM... ???? COURTNEY????? AFTER ALL IT IS COMMERCIAL FREE...

****Also, Last evening on our walk, a loose 30 lb. dog RAN out to us, tail up, hackles raised,
and barking his fool head off. I was unable to keep him away from Zena, who was
on leash. She stood at attention, tail DOWN, no hackles raised, and no wrinkled forehead.
The other dog came in slowly the last 12 inches, and pressed his nose against Zena’s nose.
I’ve never seen that before. Then I was able to move him off at that point.
I WAS IMPRESSED THAT ZENA SHOWED NO SIGNS OF AGGRESSION!!!
Just wanted to share that with you as well!

Dear Carlene,
My mother passed away this morning after months of hospice. Between my illness and caring for my mother, it’s been a difficult few months. Each time I came to help my mother, she would ask, “Where’s the mutt?”
The “mutt” she was referring to was Jewel. She absolutely adored her. Sometimes, I thought she could care less about seeing me. It was all about seeing Jewel. So I wanted to let you know that not only do I adore Jewel and appreciate all that she does for me but she also made the last few months of my mother’s life happier and more bearable. I will always be grateful for the joy that Jewel’s presence brought to her. My mother rarely smiled during this time but when she saw Jewel, she would light up. She would continuously tell me how good a girl Jewel was and how special she was.
So.. thank you to you and the Service Dog Project for my precious Jewel. She surely is a Jewel in every sense of the word.
