gonna be a good year--- first odd bit of email this morning is how i must not eat green veggies because they will cause heart attacks and joint pain.and a doctor said that ...... no distinction was made between a phd and md...------the only better email would have been.....to tell me to live on whipped cream and sugar..-- midnight commedians may find politics to provide material for discussion... with me it is ads...
---try one of those "nose rinsing" contraptions...-- what do you mean "try"? it is for anyone to use? who used this one before me...? and why?? you have one on the street corner for everyone to sample.??
then there is the inversion frame -- try hanging upside down for $14.95 ? if there is further fine print, i have not seen it... maybe the shipping and handling is then $378.42. i had one of those 100 years ago... was interesting, but cost more that $14.95
then there are the TV marketing... "take this pill, but tell your doctor if ........" -- and they rattle on for 30 seconds about all the possibilities which are much worse than what they were curing....
i remember before tv promotion of drugs...........in tom's office, 3 times a week the first afternoon apt was for the drug reps... usually attractive young women--( never saw a male drug rep...) pleasent gals who would come in and give him presents to think kindly of ( and write scripts for) whatever they were promoting.. i think i could think of a better way... medically speaking... to introduce new meds. i do know if a new med seems to work well, they find out... usually from the doctors room at the hospital... but i also remember when tom hired a new female doctor, there was a great skuffle about she had to use the nurses lounge...
times are changing. and so much of teh scripts we needed a dr apt to get, are now over the counter.-- i suppose narcotics are nearly that way too.... just a different counter...
fyi-- two of those drug reps-- who shall remain nameless are now CP's --- small world...

dr pol--- veterinarian..nat'l geo chanel is having teh holiday 12 day run of solid episodes... just like mythbusters-- alot of interesting sories.. mny about getting calves out of cows... -- it sounds like an awful lot are doa--- but remember he only gets called for the difficut births.-- an d he has 2 women who do about everything he does.... except strip to the waist in zero weather to "pull a calf" -- last night he was tryig to refresh his 2 mares education to get them to pull a sleigh for his wife birthday.. those are 2 great looking mares... black friesians-- from neitherlnd-- just as he is-- makes me want to drive mo.... as soon as it thaws... like months from now....she has even stopped banging the door to get into the yard...

pam slept in the icu last night with her dogs... in the lounge area .. and said it is darn cold--i know there are things we should have finised before it got so cold... right now it is the perfect example of why you should buy a house in the zero weather... icicles are hanging... which means we are loosing heat thru the roof melting snow so badly that the air then freezes them back into icicles.. ithis concept is also under study in the barn along kennels 1 thru 10 yu can see wiht the puppy hill camera where there is melting/ice formation...
now the problem is.. to remember exactly where that is for fixing next summer.

as for fixing those kennels i have a plan to get them up off the floor and remain washable......schedule 80 pipe and plastic wood.. problem will be ... what "fittings" come in schedule 80 2.5 or 3"-- a 3 way corner is nearly critical... i know that comes in 2" furnature pvc... but we break those2" ones in the currant kurrandsas-- can't blame the mfg... they were never made for 2 danes at once...

now... being more deaf than is currently acceptable... i fine it very isolating-- i can only begin to understand how isolating being deaf can be.
i remember...( here we go again)... i took a course in sign language years ago.. and the teacher..karen? was 100% deaf from birth.. two things stayed with me-- #1. she had us write a paper on ----which we would prefer.. deaf... or blind...and #2.. she was very annoyed at her parents at trying to encourage her to learn to lip read and get implants.. instead of learning sign language. she saaid it was a huge relief to find she was not alone, but there was a whole comminity that spoke a language she could understand...
i took that sign language for 2 years-and tried not very successfully....... but it proved to me that i never should have been expected to learn to play the piano, or clarinet.
i spent many painful years with my mother sitting next to me with a metroniome trying to make my hands work faster... they just don.t-- i have little to no eye to hand whatever... and just because my sister could play a violin is no sign i could read music and make my hands go any specific way.-- the clarinet was just as bad or worse...
how could you all question that... look a the typos i can produce-- which ... i am told are getting better... not true... they are so bad now... that i do go bwack and change some to help it be moreunderstandable.
p.s. whoever sent the brown necco wafers for my sister,, she called today and is enjoying them !!!! it made t more fun to think that people she never knew. sent her favorite brown necco wafers to me for her.
