NOW ON THE TOPIC OF PREGNANCY...... APPARENTLY  A BLOOD  TEST FOR PREG... WITH A DONKEY IS ... OVER 5.. JODY HAD A VALUE OF 7  AND BRIAN SAID "PROBABLY PREGNANT"  WELL THE PAINTED LADY HAS   28.06 AND  GG  IS..38.24 THE ONLY THING I WORRY ABOUT IS SOME DIFFERENCE  BETWEEN HORSES AND DONKEYS THAT THe  LAB IS UNAWARE OF WE ARE PROBBLY THE ONLY OUTFIT IN THE UNITED STATES THAT WOULD WANT TO VERIFY A DONKEY PREGNANCY  SO IT MAY NOT BE SOMETHING THE LAB IS FAMILIAR WITH--   FOR RACE HORSES-- MAYBE YES..-- SOME PEOPLE FIND THEM MORE VALUABLE THAN DONKEYS...   PERSONALLY.... I DON'T. ** BUT---- ALL ELSE BEING EQUAL... COULD BE.......  NOW THE EXCITING PART..... ANOTHER EXPERIMENT... ****  fyi----The sugar substitute xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs and is being added to a longer and longer list of products, including chewing gum, breath mints, peanut butter and even nasal sprays." ****** FROM IIa  who has been serving the fire dept cakes for many months ....... Dear Carlene, Time can really drag when one isn’t having fun.  That was me since I entered the hospital August 8th and by the end of the month and 6 days in September, I was at home only 8 days. The last admission was on the 25th of August. I was in extreme pain, caused by imbalance of my electrolytes.  I didn’t know being low on calcium would cause pain, however, all my electrolytes were messed up.  My husband called 911 and the firemen arrived first -- low and behold, the firemen were from Cottleville Fire Station #4.  MY FIREMEN.  They were just great; one knelt down and held my hand, asking what was wrong and all the time comforting me.  Another had the oxygen, another the stethoscope and the other was doing the charting.  They were so professional and working together like a well oiled machine. Captain Ken assisted in getting me to the ambulance and just before they closed the doors, all four firemen where standing there----   Ila , Charter CP of Missouri * ****** IT WAS A SCHOOL DAY. TODAY WAS BELLA'S FIRST GYM CLASS AND SHE PUT GEORGE IN THE SAME SPOT SHE DID LAST YEAR BY THE BLEACHERS. TODAY THOUGH GEORGE GOT UP AND STARTED TO WALK AWAY AND LEAVE THE GYM. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED. BELLA CALLED HIM AND HE WENT RIGHT OVER TO HER. HOPEFULLY IT WAS JUST FIRST GYM CLASS JITTERS HE HAD AND BY NEXT WEEK HE WILL REMEMBER THE ROUTINE FROM LAST YEAR. OTHER THAN THAT SCHOOL HAS BEEN GOING GREAT. HE HAS A FLUFFY NOW IN EVERY ROOM AND A BED IN SOME. ONE HAPPY PUPPY. TOMORROW IS SCHOOL AND THEN WE ARE BACK TO AFTERNOON INFUSIONS. SO SHE WILL HAVE INFUSION FROM 2:30-8:30. IT MAKES FOR A LONG DAY BUT IT'S WORTH IT. WELL I AM OFF TO BED NOW. THANKS FOR CHECKING IN AND HAVE A WONDERFUL NIGHT. I'm fine.  Uncomfortable without electricity, but so grateful my house And brother's house are fine. Minor damage. Husband, Brother and I are unharmed. No flooding in houses. What More could I ask for?
