i believe the new mic that explore sent is ??perfect??? i hooked it up with maximun confidence
it didn't take too much... fortunately the wires are adequately described as having male ends or female ends
which did not take too much to figure out. but coming out of the camera was a male end-- and the mic had a male end too so i had to ask megan to go find a "female female" piece of hardware. which she did.. and it works.
over the 3 years we have a plastic bin of cast off electronic pieces chock full- including several sony cameras-

question now is do we bring back the maudestall camera to the house...for noel's forthcoming delivery i don/\'t think we can add another...
what do i know? i know we pay verizon for 16 somethings--- of which 13 are useable. that is the extent of my knowledge... no... one more bit... we pay for 16 fast whatever they are's...

giving up on technology, i am going to buy one of those cheap flip phones--i put this other thing in my rear pocket like everyone else around here... and it has dialed 4 people i never met- take it out and it is playing "sound of music... "

another goal today is to figure out what to do with that thing i satrted to build... it needs some serious antiwobble addition---- rectangles fall over... need some triangles...... i think i may try "hidden triangles" by using a piece of plywood here and there... stay tuned.. hopefully it is still standing this morning...and about the roof.... if it is 6' on each side--- is that identical to any triangle 6' on a side.. because cutting roof pieces is going to be difficult if it is not... it is to maybe be a shaded sitting place for us old folks...

now th e proper color of a manure pile... i had an email overnight about maude's stall was a disaster--- they must hae meant just churned up because the color of the shavings and straw was light yellow.-- a dirty stall is the whole thing black/brown with manure
so altho the light color bedding is cleaner , as a manure pile it is much less valuable... as a matter of fact our manure pile has so little manure in it, i would have to pay someone to take it away...--i think we can use it as "ground cover " in one of the parking areas...
but.....a valuable manure pile is dark.. and has had lime added to it regularly... then it can be sold.....
