camera is nearly working---i am not 100% sure  -- but i think  it was equipment failure getting from t tent to the house. tim jerry rigged it from barn to th ehouse which i believe is not perfect because when they first installed it...puppy hill is in the way.  i think there is new equipment for the t tent on the way-- those people watching the puppy hill camera might see steve on the roof replacing it ... if we get it today...

enjoy the cut and paste--- i will now clean my desk--

ONE OF KARMA’S BEST FEATURES IS HER SMILE POWER.
SHE BRINGS JOY TO JIM & OTHERS WITH HER QUIRKY “DANE” WAYS, & THAT LOOK OF “SO, WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM?”
HERE SHE IS TONIGHT, RIDING OUT A NH THUNDERSTORM AT OUR FISHING CAMP.
NOTICE THAT SHE DOESN’T FIT IN THE BATHROOM.
SHE’S ALSO WEARING HER THUNDERSHIRT, WHICH SHE LOVES.
ONE TIME I FOUND HER IN THE SHOWER STALL, PEAKING OUT.
SHE SURE DOES BRING A SMILE TO OUR FACES; SHE’S A FUNNY GIRL!

CHOP SHOP!!!
We've been here about a month and things are going great! Lola has met 4 new puppy friends down the street and plays with them often. They run run run and Lola is the fastest of them all. She is so spoiled there that when she is done with playtime, our friends open the door and lay a dog bed down so Lola can come and go as she pleases in and out of the cool AC. Lola still hasn't learned that it's OK for us to be in the pool. She runs from side to side and tries to paw us out of the pool. But as soon as I go near the stairs she is right there to help me out. The sidewalks here are so much wider and easier for us to navigate. Lola still loves to stop and smell the flowers, often, which is a nice break for me. Her newfound love is lizards, they fascinate her. She loves to watch them scurry around. She will turn and look at me as if to say "did you just see that"! We've noticed not many people are aware of a balance dog, even my doctors. Several have asked me what I use to get around. When I tell them Lola is my 2nd set of legs they're really impressed and amazed! We recently visited an outdoor, dog friendly pub and Lola was doing wonderful with all the dogs roaming about....until another Great Dane came in. She was so excited to see what she considered a "familiar face"! It took her a few corrections to remind her we were not at the farm and she was still "working". She let out a big huff and went back to her down/stay position. The house has so much more room than our last one but Lola still makes sure she's no longer than an arm length from me, even when relaxing and watching tv!
We hope all is well with you and all of the staff and volunteers! Can't wait to
see everyone is September!

Love Michelle, Melanie and Lola
