THING WILL BE A HUGE POWERFUL VACUUM CLEANER FOR THE BARN KENNEL-- SHELIA IS
SCOUTING A BUILTIN--.. THOSE DOLLARS MOUNT UP

Hi Carlene & All,
I hope you are feeling well and getting good, restful
sleep.
Is there a chew toy that puppies like more than
shoes?!? We have always kicked off our shoes when we enter the house. My
children's families do the same so there are always shoes of all sizes, colors
and materials by the entry door. Garden clogs and sneakers seem to be Ebony's
favorites. Other than her shoe fetish she is a dear, wonderful dog and a
faithful companion for Al. I'm so comfortable when Al is out walking with Ebony.
She always brings him home safely. They only walk the driveway but there are
several walks back and forth.

Things are fine out here in Western MA. Tessa is doing
great. You mentioned it was a slow DD not much to report and as I've been going
to mention this to you for about a month now (you jarred my memory when you
mentioned puppies and hawks.)
I take Tess down to a local athletic field for exercise,
on hot days She likes to walk in a small creek that runs along side the field.
One morning as We were going over to the creek Her head came up alert, a furrow
between the ears as she stared off. I looked toward what caught her eye and
there two children were running flying kites about 20 ft over their heads. Tess
looked at me ...to the children, back to me then over to their mother and back
at the children! She then began tugging at the leash toward the children. I told
her no she looked again at me then the children....I said they're okay Tess it
won't get them it's not a bird! So she went and enjoyed the creek then before we
left I took her over to smell the kites and show her they weren't big birds. I
told the children and their mother about her wanting to chase the birds over
their heads away, they hugged her and told her thanks Tess!
Tess at times will watch the turkey vultures gliding on
the air currents over head but I didn't think too much of it before. She's very
in tune with everything surrounding Us. Which is so amazing these Dog's process
so much information, traffic, people, animals, shopping carts, cars, trucks and
so too it seems big birds trying to scoop up children! Just thought You might
use a chuckle and incase you hadn't noticed before they're trained to watch out
for hawks too! They are true multi tasker's as if just taking care of us was not
enough! Thanks again for putting us together! Sincerely
