IT INVOLVES TAKEING DOWN THE CAMERA AGAIN..  I HOPE THE HUM IS NOT SOME IDIOT THING WE HAVE NOT SEEN OR THOUGHT OF...  I REMOVED ALL THE RECHARGING THINGS...AND LITTLE BLACK BOX ELECTRICAL  THINGS THEY ARE NOW BY THE CASH REGISTER...ON A DIFFERENT CIRCUIT.

WE COULD REPLACE THE SURGE STRIP WHILE WE ARE AT IT...  I AM TOLD THEY GO BAD.--I HEARD THAAT ONE ON THE INTERNET... SO IT MUST BE TRUE......

AND THEN THERE IS THE PHONE BIT... 4-5 YEARS NOW EVERY SPRING.... I HAVE TRIED TO HAVE PHONE SERVICE IN THE T TENT. - TO THAT END I HAVE PURCHASED ALL MANNER OF WIRELESS/REMOTE PHONES ANSD RELOACETED THE BASES-- THE FARTHEST RELIABLE IS THE GATE BY THE V PEN...  HERE IT IS SPRING... AGAIN... AND I AMSTILL TRYING TO BE ABE TO SIT INT HE T TENT AND ANSWER THE PHONES...  I MEAN WE GOT TO THE MOON-- AND THEY TALK TO US FROM THERE...WHY????... VERIZON  COME ON???? DOESN'T SOUND LIKE MUCH... BUT  OTHERWISE  SOMEONE HAS TO STAY IN THE HOUSE-- 9OR SIT BYT THE GATE IN TH EDRIVEWAY) to be able to qanswer the phone... and we get alot of calls FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. LAST YEAR I BOUGHT SOME SIGNAL BOOSTER THING- WHICH SOMEONE PUT SOMEWHERE TO BOOSGT THE SIGNAL TO THE T TENT..-- IT IS ONE OF THOSE CZA THINGS... NO ONE CAN REMEMBER WHERE IT GOT PUT-- BUT WE STILL CAN AANSWER ONLY BY THE GATE... MISSING ABOUT 50- FEET. WE /I SPEND ALOT OF MONEY ON VERIZON BETWEEN THE LINES FOR THE PHONES, CELL PHONES, COMPUTERS, AND CAMERAS.... AND THYE SAY THEY CAN'T??????

OF WHICH MAUDE AND POCKETS WERE ONE.    SHE HAS HER OWN 501 C 3 EQUINE RESCUE NETWORK OF PEOPLE TO PULL ANIMALS OUT OF THE LINE AND GET THEM TO QUARENTINE FACILITIES--THEN GET THEM TRUCKED NORTH...ALOT OF PEOPLE  IN THIS AREA ( WHICH IS WELL KNOWN FOR  THINGS LIKE OLYMPIC  HORSES) ARE FINDING OUT THAT DONKEYS MAKE  BETTER PET ANIMALS THAN HORSES..  THEY ARE MORE LIKE BIG DOGS.-- ALL THESE EQUINES GET THE TYPICAL KINDERGARDENERS COLD... FROM BEING IN LARGE GROUPS..IT IS CALLED  STRANGLES-- IT IS NOT USUALLY LIFE THREATENING... JUST MESSY..

HERE IS THE EDUCATIONAL  FACT FOR THE DAY.... HORSES CAN NOT BREATHE THRU THEIR MOUTHS-- SO A IMPAIRED NOSE IS A COMPLICATED THING.

I OBVIOUSLY NEED TO FIND  A STAMP ON EBAY...THE PROCESS IS NUTS.

-MAINE HAS IT RIGHT..  YOU GO INTO THE TOWN HALL, ASK FOR AND GET A PERMIT- THEY GIVE YOU ONE... THEN MONTHS LATER THEY SEND ROUND THE ASSESSOR TO BE SURE YOU GET TAXED FOR WHATEVER...  WHICH I THINK IS THE ORIGIONAL PURPOSE OF THE PERMIT..  AROUND HERE... THE FEAR OF STRANGE LAWSUITS IS WHAT DRIVES ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS.  AND THE CURRENT BI.. SEEMS TO BE A NICE GUY..BUT THE RULES AR A PAIN IN THE NECK. now about dogfest weekend....--sept  xx -xx ( i forget for the moment)

it is $60 for food and shirt---- or ----it is free,- no food no shirt  which  works fine for some   no problem 

the way you get a shirt is to stay "in the spirit of dogfest"-- 

and "in the spirit" includes people who are here--- or  people who send in their spirit sticks-- these spirit sticks are for those who wish they were here.but for one reason or anothere...   they are to design a piece of cardboard? with thier name and  a few pictures it which can then be taped to a paint stirrur stick... there are "on exhibit" saturday   then sunday we have the spirit stick march  whe the people here take a stick or two and walk them right up to the camera for worldwide exhibit-- afteer which we burn them in the fire and the smoke  goes into the spirit world...

SINCE T SHIRT DESIGN AND COLOR HAVEN'T BEEN DECIDED YET -- CAN PEOPLE BEGIN TO MAIL THEIR SPIRIT STICKS NOW AND THEN MAIL THEIR T SHIRT ORDER TO SDP LATER.

 no --- why would they need to wait--  it makes life easier if the stick and order stay together..  late..mail call  orders will get filled last on an as available basis.  sdp has to front the money for the shirts, and we need to know who is buying them.. we are not macy's department store so to minimize the paying for extra shirts- we need a pretty good count. 

CAN PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ATTENDING DOG FEST OR SENDING A SPIRIT STICK ORDER A DOG FEST T SHIRT? no. why would they not be able to send a spirit stick???? sounds like we have a negative  concept.  ?how can i be different and screw it up.  shirts are for those people who are  "IN THE SPIRIT OF THE THING" i will get a handful of homedepot paint sticks to help out those people who

can get the picture together...but can't actually get and mail a stick.... if we have any left we can deal with that thru mail call letters.

IF A PERSON IS COMING FOR JUST ONE DAY WOULD IT BE $30 A DAY FOR THE COST OF FOOD PER PERSON?  DOES PRICE INCLUDE A T SHIRT?  IF NOT, HOW MUCH FOR FOOD FOR A DAY AND A T SHIRT?  dogfest is $60 - generic food, clambake  and shirt-    or  dogfest can be free---  no food no shirt. ---- they can buy a shirt if we have any left over

MOST PEOPLE PREFER TO PUT THEIR NAME ON THE SPIRIT STICK BUT NOT THEIR CONTACT INFO BECAUSE THE STICKS ARE ON DISPLAY AND ANYONE AT THE FARM WILL SEE THE INFO.  CAN THEY INCLUDE THEIR T SHIRT ORDER SIZE AND MAILING ADDRESS ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER?

i was impressed with the physical therapist i went to see yesterday- i mention this only to discuss the computerization of the "medical industry.

" basic problem is--i am in the lahey system-- as patient  #123445566778-2a-second problem is... my  usual primary care physician left lahey...and per the computer .. i must have one.... not knowing one from the next... i was assigned to the "next available"  phsycian who was taking new patients.  now...my affair with the elevator's wild electrical problem.... because George ( bentley's veterinarian) had said to watch him for xxxxxxx.. i figured maybe i should see  a doctor who could do/order  similar tests /whatever  for me.

 when you go into a lahey dr cubicle.... a person- with probably no medical training hooks you up to a blood pressure /oxygen saturation machine and pushes one button- while asking you  from 1 to 10 - how much pain you are in. that is entered and in comes the  board certified doctor.. who looks at the computer screen  while asking "why you are here"--- so help me... i said "i was having trouble sleeping because of....."  i didn't get to say because of the electrical accident-- he pushed a button which sent a sleeping pill Rx to costco pharmacy - and left. 

really???...must  have been abnormal occurance-- so i made another appt a week later- with a second doctor who "was taking new patients".  this time i got to why i was there, and started "i was worried that....."  and his head went back toward the computer screen and bingo i had a Rx for a tranquiliser waiting for me at costco pharmacy. i picked up both Rx and did not take any of either-

 finally i met another doctor from lahey who got me past the appointment- making person and i did see a doctor who let me get to the words electracal accident and hurt arm.( here comes the interesting part)  the only reason she got interested in the case was --- her sister is  also a doctor - at childrens hospital in boston had a really cute boy with a black dog who did wonders for his walking..  HUNTER AND WENDY !!!   AND THEN SHE SAID I COULD BE HER PATIENT--THANK YOU HUNTER AND WENDY !!!    she pushed a button   on the computer and i was lined up for some physical therapy place. 

she also explained   patients are only allowed one complaint per visit-  and-- i know historically why-- on the insurance forms ( medicare) there is a code for an office visit- each of which must have an "approved "diagnosis- and then the matching  Rx would  be approved

there was no code for "electrical accident with an elevator"..  i wasn't allowed to have that - there was no code for that-  there was no "OTHER"

WHICH EXPLAINS A BIG PROBLEM FOR ME-- I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN  SOME  "OTHER" CATAGORY- THE ONLY ITEM ON A FORM FOR WHICH I AM POSITIVE.. IS  THE M/F  -- AFTER THAT I GET CONFUSED.

 Today at school Bella and George had MCAS testing. Today and tomorrow are science. I think George was happy because it gave him time to recover from the game last night. I do have to say I was very impressed with him last night. With the amount of people just attempting to reach out and let him 

without asking or the ones that would grab him from behind and he never lost a beat. (Besides his pooping incident but no one was touching him then!) but anyway back to today. George had a good day. I guess after the fire drill yesterday at school he was a little nervous and confused. Bella and George 

are supposed to go to the safe room on the second floor. This is the first place the firemen check. This wasn't a planned alarm, the alarms went off and they didn't know why.

 So this seemed like the real deal and I know Bella was scared because they couldn't get into their room and they didn't know if this 

 was a real fire or not. So I guess George was a bit shaky after the fire drill and going back inside. But today was a better day. The things I learn the day after.

 Tonight Bella had a part in our meetin gong at the Kingdom Hall. Her and George walked right up on stage and did a great job with their 2 friends. Proud of my girl. Tomorrow is school and then infusion. But that's all for tonight. Love Bella and George 👧🐶💕

"Pockets" is only 3 days old, and i bet she has made more people smile than alot of people have done in their lifetime. I FIGURE "GOLDIE" HAD A HAND IN THE NAMING..."GOLDIE" BEING OUR  GHOST OF THE LEFTHAND DRAWER"--SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO GO WITH HER.   MY ''REAR POCKET"  MOBILITY ASSISTANCE DEVICE  WAS  ALSO A FACTOR... WE ALSO TOOK THE MUCK FROM OUTSIDE THE HORSE STALLS WHERE THEY JUST STAND AROUND IN THE RAIN CHURNING UP MUD...  AND THE TRACTOR CARRIED IT BACK TO THE TOP OF THE HILL -- I WANT TO THROW WILDFLOWERS THERE TOO..  THIS WILL BE A TEST.... WE WILL THEN KNOW WHETHER GENERIC HORSE CREATED TOPSOIL IS BETTER THAN THE COMEERCIALLY GENERATED KIND. LIFTING TYPE HELP NEEDED TODAY -- FOOD ARRIVAL 12-4 SOMETIME  AND RYAN HAS BEEN OUT LAST WEEEK WITH FLU...  NOT SURE HE WILL BE IN TODAY EITHER....I HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE CONTAINER LATELY, BUT I AM SURE WE HAVE SOME ROTATING TO DO BEFORE IT ARRIVES... I THINNK THEY TOLD ME BETWEEN 12 AND 4PM.

I FINALLY GOT  "OFF ROAD DEISEL" DELIVERED TO OUR  BARREL/PUMP-- IT IS DYED A DIFFERENT COLOR AND WE DON'T PAY TAXES ON IT.

AND WE WILL USE IT TO UNLOAD THE PALLETS OF FOOD. THAT PUSHES IT'S LIMITS .. I THINK 24 BAGS PER PALLET AND EACH 37 POUNDS...   ABOUT 900 POUNDS PER...( TO BE CHEWED, SWALLOWED, MIXED WITH WATER, POO'D AND PICKED  AND PUT IN THE DUMPSTER... JUST THINK ABOUT THAT..!!!)

UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE WE ARE KEEPING MAUDE AND BABY SO CLEAN, OUR PILE IS NOW TYPE C.-  ENTIRELY TOO LIGHT COLORED-- NEW SHAVINGS AND STRAW.. NOT  HIGH ENOUGH % OF  MANURE---IT  SHOULD BE DARK...  BUT JANINE SAYS WE CAN DUMP IT SOMEWHERE IN HAMILTON-- NOW BECAUSE IT IS TYPE C, I AM EMBARASSED AS TO THE QUALITY OF THE MANURE I MIGHT DUMP THERE- I AM AFRAID  I WILL BE CRITIZED FOR HAVING A TYPE C MANURE PILE. TALK ABOUT TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH POLITICALLY CORRECT STANDARDS OF MANURE.

I HAVE NEVER HAD TYPE A, BUT I HAVE HAD MANY CONTRACTORS TAKE IT AND MIX IT WITH SAND  ETC  , THEN NEXT YEAR SELL IT AS TOPSOIL...

I WISH OUR QUARENTINE INFIRMARY WAS COMPLETED-- WE HAVE SOMETHING GOING AROUND...  CLEAR DRIP FROM NOSES..  SOME CONGESTED- SOME SLIGHT TEMP 103... ( 101-102 IS NORMAL)  WE NOW HAVE 6 ON  GRACE'S LIST.. -5 DRIPS AND A YELP.  ROCCO HAS SOME PAIN SOMEWHERE-- WHICH IS ALSO TYPICAL OF THE START OF LYME- AMONG OTHER THINGS..  GEORGE IS ON DECK... HE MADE A HOUSE CALL AND  HAS EMAILED US BACK AND FORTH-- NOTHING TERRIBLE AS OF LAST NIGHT... THEY ARE ALL STILL EATING- WHICH IS A BIG SIGN..

no one called to tell me we had won the power ball as a matter of fact, we were way off    we had 66 numbers   only 3 were correct - so i guess we don't get the holes in the driveway fixed yet,-- Goldie  has given us  those as  speed bumps- **** i don't know if we will have no one today.... or be mobbed- with people coming to see the new mom... or more correctly, th e new baby.. however... i bought a pot... and some chicken.... used to be...... sunday stew involved chicken stew--   fire in the pit,  pot into which we put chicken carrots potatoes and other things like canned soup,, or some salad dressing for flavor..  whatever... with  coffee cup and a spoon,  everyone was fed and happy----  mark even has pictures somewhere of  what was "in the pot"-- outdoor eating makes everything taste good, so we never worried too much about the details. so this pot that i bought.... cast iron...  will hang from a tripod deal over the fire( which hopefully no one has misplaced...)  the other piece of cooking arraingement is the  kids swing set which straddles the  second firepit  over by puppy hill camera... we have a chain with 2 loops to hold the handles of a monster corn cooking pot... that was around during dog fest -- and was the source of education for 2 cp's--  they asked me what they could do to help-- and i suggested they get that second fire going under the corn water...  they both said ( in unison) "i don't know how to start a fire" ...  i really didn't think it would be such a challange-- but appartently they are city folk and were never girl scouts.. they both ( in unison) took out their cell phones and dialed fire starting.-- just as steve walked by-- he said the fire starter he used was to take dryer lint and stuff it in  toilet paper holders..so these 2 jovial city folk went round and cleaned all the dryer lint screens-- probably preventing a serious fire in the laundries. at any rate -- they got a good fire going and we had boiled corn..  and dog fest-iers ate bushels of corn on the cob !! someone else came up with the idea of shucked  corn in a very clean scrubbed out  big cooler-   dump in  boiling water to cover and shut the lid...it gets cooked and stays warm for a long time.  that worked well too.  microwaveing failed the taste test as did wrapped in foil on the fire. i am going to try and get a pot going today. ***** maude itches...   she still has  a heavy coat-- which mary used to shed in august... i put down a pile of sand for rolling  but everythign was so wet,  she didn't roll yesterday. ..i don't want her trying to roll in her stall  because she nearly got cast last time... *** -- has everyone else figured this out except me????  i never noticed this before.  - in tryng to describe nerves in my arm... one is definitely connected to my thumb and first  and another to my 4th and 5th--- i haven't figured out which nerve services the 3rd finger...  when i noticed i was missing a second  finger...   if i have a first finger ( the index one) and a 3rd finger ( the  demonstrative one)  what happened to the second one?  somebody has to worry about these things. *********** if enoug people are here today maybe some can help me move some lumber which is halting my progress with the post hole digging i say lumber.... really 4x6 pt 12'  long posts.... heavy....a big pile of them--- to hold up this "pole barn" which will replace the poles of the old arena... so i am "remodeling in the footprint"... ********* Hi ! Just a quick note to let you know Merle and I are doing great. A little hesitation getting into the truck at Costco (maybe she didn't want to leave?) but overall the visit went very well.   She has also found her favorite spot to use as her bathroom out back and goes to that spot every time.   She also loves her new Barker bed....
